Just received quote on home generator. On average, $6000.00 higher than other quotes. Have been a PDM customer for some 20+ years and felt service in the past was quite good. With this new quote, in the future I think I should start getting other quotes when needing either heating or ac work.

Anthony has been doing our plumbing and HVAC at the house for years. He was there again today doing a routine AC check. And as always we later felt his visit was actually critical. Turns out there’s a blanket of leaves and dust inside the AC we had no idea of. He took the time to thoroughly clean it. It will save us energy and extend the life of the unit. We always respect and appreciate the work of PDM and their people. Great service.

Brennon was timely, worked hard and helped explain things as he went to assist as I am a new home owner. Unit is running better at this point but I need to monitor to make sure ice buildup does not continue to hold. One comment Brennon left was that the thermostat should be located upstairs as the ventilation is not quite sufficient and so the first floor gets to temperature far earlier than the second floor. I would like a price to relocate the thermostat directly up. Additionally, shortly after hey left, the Honeywell thermostat screen went blank. I tried new batteries, flipping the breaker, flipping the batteries and holding the home button to try to get a factory reset. Not sure why it went dark but would like a call to hopefully fix without a visit.

School plumbing service. Estimate to repair storm drain crack in about 10' of pipe.
Water shut off valves. Replace hot and cold emergency shut off valves for washing machine.
Floor drain wasn’t draining because ejector pump wasn’t working. Installed budget sump pump as ejector.
Check for high temperature on 2nd floor, found this house has multiple thermostats some are for boiler zone system for the house. This house has only one thermostat for cooling and it is located in the dine / family room . And the house is good size. To make upstairs more comfortable I recommend they leave blower on furnace running to even the house out. 2nd option would be a zone system to split the floors if possible. Also started Clean and check plan today on 2 system’s furnace and ac they already have a plan for the boiler system through us. Drain cleaning. Rodded backwards into house from outside cleanout and successfully cleared blockage. Also rodded kitchen line from cleanout under sink. Drains are flowing now.
Toilet repair. After inspection and repair cost decided toilets need to be replaced. Customer to get toilets and call back.
HVAC repair. Motor needs replacement and wheel cleaned. Replaced capacitor today. Unit will not last. Customer declined estimate at this time.
Service 2 A/C systems. Prepaid visit. Sent estimate on 2nd floor unit. Fan motor was rusted, No warranty.
Estimate to install gas line to pool heater.
Commercial sewer cleaning. Jet drain in loading dock. It took a lot of water so it appears to be open at this time.
Performed ac clean and check. Sprayed a good amount of cotton wood from the outside unit.
Commercial plumbing repair. Office bathroom toilet spud is blown off the toilet. I’m going to replace spud vacuum breaker with new tube and o ring with closet close coupling kit . When I took everything apart and went to reassemble flush valve you can see toilet stop is out of the wall by 3/4”. I talked to Chris told him water would not shut down he said try to fix it like it’s is I double the washer on the coupling kit to make up for the angle of the vacuum breaker tube it went back together, no warranty on this repair, due to miss ruff of stop at toilet supply. Had Chris flush toilet no leaks on toilet. I Took a photo of the angle of the vacuum breaker tube in customer file. Sink drain leak in break room coming through wall in conference room carpet is wet.problems found 1- small drip in waste nut on kitchen p trap replace washer. 2-sediment filter to RO system in leaking removed this filter. 3- pinhole leak on 1/4” plastic tubing on RO system cut
Commercial main water shut off valve replacement. I cut out the main water shutoff valves and meter. Replaced shut off valves and meter which was supplied by the city. Tested for safe operation.
Commercial plumbing repair. Water pipe leak repair. Identified leak on 2” copper 90 in ceiling above 2” meter. Attempted to shut off water by the meter but neither valve was operating. Had City of Lockport water department come to shut off main in order to cut out and replace the 2” 90. Also replaced split lawn faucet. Schedule to replace main shut off valves on both sides of the meter Drain cleaning sewer line outside on the loading dock. Once the water can be shut off move a shut off stop for a Sloan valve because it’s not lined up with where the spud is on the toilet.
Power to fan switch but no power at fan. Customer is going to get another fan and will call to schedule for replacement
