Hi Barb, thanks for your air conditioning service review. Happy to hear Chris fixed the leak and got the cold air flowing again. Thanks again for trusting PDM. We are here when needed.
Just received quote on home generator. On average, $6000.00 higher than other quotes. Have been a PDM customer for some 20+ years and felt service in the past was quite good. With this new quote, in the future I think I should start getting other quotes when needing either heating or ac work.
Response from PDM Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Since 1885:
Hi Marlene, we usually are very competitive with our work. For your job we used an electrical subcontractor to bid on the work and we did the gas piping and equipment set-up. The sub's bid turned out to be way off and for that we apologize. Looks like we will not bid on generators in the future as sub contractors can damage our brand and your trust. Thanks for your review and trust over the many years. We still hope to serve you in the future. You know we a good team who cares. Thanks again Marlene! Stay well.
ALWAYS FAST FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson. Thank you Craig for your air conditioning service review. We appreciate your trust! Until our next maintenance call stay well!
Anthony has been doing our plumbing and HVAC at the house for years. He was there again today doing a routine AC check. And as always we later felt his visit was actually critical. Turns out there’s a blanket of leaves and dust inside the AC we had no idea of. He took the time to thoroughly clean it. It will save us energy and extend the life of the unit. We always respect and appreciate the work of PDM and their people. Great service.

Not in doing what you like, but in liking what you do is the secret of happiness.” -- J.M. Barrie (1860-1939) Thank you Loretta for your kind air conditioning service review. And yes, Anthony is a great guy to have on your team and loves helping you stay safe. Thanks again for your continued trust and recommendation!
Brennon was timely, worked hard and helped explain things as he went to assist as I am a new home owner. Unit is running better at this point but I need to monitor to make sure ice buildup does not continue to hold. One comment Brennon left was that the thermostat should be located upstairs as the ventilation is not quite sufficient and so the first floor gets to temperature far earlier than the second floor. I would like a price to relocate the thermostat directly up. Additionally, shortly after hey left, the Honeywell thermostat screen went blank. I tried new batteries, flipping the breaker, flipping the batteries and holding the home button to try to get a factory reset. Not sure why it went dark but would like a call to hopefully fix without a visit.

Commercial drain cleaning. Power jet sewer line from man hole outside, sewer is draining good now.
Customers say there is a smell in basement near the bathroom and ejector pit when the ejector pump runs a few. Ran water but couldn’t get it to smell. Since it’s not constant the most logical explanation was a trap was getting sucked dry when the pump runs but the floor drain and shower that are close by seemed fine. Kitchen/laundry line was backing up, successfully rodded from cleanout in basement.
1-Added estimate for customer supplied softener replaced. 2- Dave to send quotes for job. Repipe returns with tee lowered and remove steam traps make return gravity, remove pump. 3- c/c steam boiler 4- pump replacement Today I flooded boiler system to check for leaks found one on return put patch on it . 2- check pump needs replacement 3-draw up boiler system Note I left boiler off at fuse do to boiler not being cleaned Material used in the notes.
Commercial boiler repair. Work completed to clean & flushthe steam boiler and re-pipe and remove condensate pump and steam traps per estimate.
Furnace repair. Replaced board and low/high pressure switches under warranty.
Sewer cleaning. Rodded sewer thru cleanout in basement, encountered roots pretty quickly in back yard. Ran cable all the way out 95’. Ran all fixtures, flowing well at this time. If the problem persists, we will need to camera the line to further diagnose.
When I arrived, we went into kitchen found hand señsor Moen kitchen faucet with loose handle and cartridge, this cartridge goes in one way and one way only. I also change her faucet batteries. Faucet is working fine now with hand sensor and by handle. Fault with lift station pump staying on. I went down pulled pit lid wash out lift station with hose and cycle pump, a couple of times pump would run but water would not drop. I believe the check valve is broken and stopping water from being discharged. Talked to the customer pump is 10 years old they decided tochange the pump with new check valve.
Room is 75 degrees, need to rise temp about set for warmer floor. NC
Successfully rodded main from inside cleanout on stack.
Sump pump repair. Plugged pump in to find that it ran and shut off. Ran water in basement to test the operation of the pump. The pump turned was operating properly. Faucet repair. Repair faucet and replace defective cartridge.
Replaced kitchen faucet with customer supplied Grohe unit.
Clean and inspect furnace, turn water on to humidifier
Figured out leak was coming from where the pipe goes through the rubber piece in floor drain, tightened up nut to compress dinner which solved the issue.
