I completed a diagnostic on a Bryant A/C. I inspected the unit and found condenser not running. I found fuses in disconnect blown. I replaced fuses and then they blew again. I found compressor shorted to ground and needs replaced. The A/C is from 1988 so I did recommend replacement due to the age, condition and cost of repairs (seen and unseen). Customer waiting for spouse so they can discuss.
