Found this 20 plus year old Nordyne Tappan heat pump not cooling due to a bad capacitor causing the compressor not to come on. System is also low on Freon. Was able to get system back up and running today but this system is on its last leg.
Found this 14 year old Lennox heat pump frozen up due to being low on Freon. Explained to customer he has Freon leaks. Cleaned outdoor coils and added Freon back to system. System is now cooling but for how long is the question.
Found this 4 year old Goodman heat pump system not cooling due to a bad start capacitor for the compressor. System also needs the outdoor coils cleaned and a little bit of Freon.
Condensation pump had failed and was leaking water all over the floor on this 7 year old Airtemp heat pump system. Checked cooling cycles and Freon readings.
Found this 12-14 year old Bryant outdoor unit not cooling due to a bad high voltage contactor not functioning correctly. Chemical cleaned outdoor coils and checked Freon readings and pressures. System back in normal operation.

Taking care of a warranty repair on this Amana heat pump
Customer also has these (2) 7 year old Coaire mini split for their basement. Customer is wanting to replace them next spring if they are not worth repairing.
Performing heating maintenance on this 3 month old Amana heat pump system. Checking 5 inch pleated media filter. Checking Freon readings. Testing backup stripheat or aux heat. Testing defrost cycles and electrical components. With this system only being in for a short time nothing is wrong with the system. Customer has a 10 year parts and labor warranty and lifetime on the compressor.
Replaced a 8 year old Lennox heat pump with this new 2.5 ton Amana 15 seer heat pump. It qualifies for a $400 credit from Jackson EMC. New system is a lot more quiet than the old system. Lennox system also had a big Freon leak.
Perform air conditioning checks on these 2 Bryant 15 year old heat pump systems. Smaller one will need replaced due to txv issue and it not worth putting that kind of money into. Chemical cleaned outdoor condenser coils on the larger one and rechecked Freon readings. Also reconnected water safety switch. Checked air filter.
