Another company installed this system back in the summer and did not hook up the exhaust pipe, condensation drain line or gas line for the 92% efficiency furnace. We fixed all this and have the furnace heating correctly.
Replaced bad outdoor condenser fan motor on this 16 year old Lennox heat pump system. This was causing the system not to cool. Recommended replacing high voltage contactor and clean the outdoor condenser coils. Dirty coils are making the Freon readings look abnormal.
Quoted rerunning and adjusting ductwork on this system that another company installed earlier this year. Customer may also add a 5” media filter to cut done on filter change intervals and better air cleaning.
Performing cooling maintenance on this 6 month old Amana heat pump that we installed in 2019. Chemical cleaned outdoor coils. Checked Freon readings and pressures. Checked condensation drain line. Tested electrical components.
Another company was out and said that the compressor has went bad in this 19 year old Ruud heat pump system. They actually wired the new capacitor in wrong and that’s why it wasn’t working. American Home Shield should consider using better companies to perform their work.
Found this 6 year old 13 seer Goodman heat pump not coming on due to the breaker being flipped. Compressor is going bad due to the megohmeter reading on the bad area. Contactor and capacitor are also weak. Outdoor coils needs to be cleaned with a chemical to recheck the Freon readings to make sure they are correct. System only had a 5 year warranty on it.
Performed cooling check on this 2007 Carrier heat pump system. Has a bad contactor and capacitor keeping it from running and cooling the main level of the home. Customer has a home warranty and they will be covering the repairs. System is past it’s life expectancy but customer may get a few more year out of it before it has to be replaced.
