Qualify Service and Affordable Prices

I called Primus Heating and Air Conditioning because my air stopped cooling. They were at my home as quickly as possible to resolve our problem. I was texted a time of arrival, which was right on time. They worked quickly and efficiently until our air conditioning was working again. All the work was done at a very affordable price. Split system Goodman Heat Pump. Initial call is the outdoor condensing unit not operating. Found a burned contactor. Replaced contactor, one weak dual capacitor, one weak run capacitor for the indoor blower motor and found the indoor air handler disconnect burn up. Replaced disconnect box with a new one.

2 ton heat pump package unit not turning on. Found multiple issues. Bad thermostat ( would not adjust temperature when pressed ) , control defrost board would not send control voltage even after thermostat replacement and a intermittent issue with a pipe sensor for the heat pump.

Customer complains of trash inside ducting and has concerns of breathing in containment’s. Found two returns not being filtered, found one large return unattached in crawl space and found two supply flexible run outs in bad shape. Also did a quick measurement of the home and it appears the current system is severely oversized. Will quote duct upgrades to customer.

Split system heating and cooling with an 80% gas furnace in the attic. Customer complaint was sporadic heat. Found filters clogged and a weak blower motor run capacitor. Replaced capacitor and cleaned the flame sensor. System is now operational.

Single split system heat pump. System running without compressor functioning. Found a swollen dual capacitor.

Nordyne split system heat pump running without the compressor. Found dual capacitor swollen. Checked refrigerant pressures and cleaned condensation drain pipe with a small hand pump.

Found the Blower Motor run capacitor weak. The indoor air filter was the incorrect size and the system was slightly under charge. Had to charge system with 2lbs. of R-22 refrigerant.

Customer stated that local gas company was called because of a gas smell. After the repair the gas company started the ICP gas package unit and they noticed the burners burning strangely. We noticed an object in one of the gas burner orifice. We pulled the burners and remove a dead bug lodged in one of the burner offices.

Customer stated their overflow pan was leaking in the attic area and onto their ceiling. Found man drain clogged and cleared drain and vacuumed water from overflow pan. Informed customer of a tune up of their system since it wasn't tune up in five years. Cleaned dirty condenser coil because of a very higher than usual condensing liquid pressure. Replaced a weak blower motor run capacitor. After cleaning pressure on high side lowered. Charged system with the correct amount of R-22 refrigerant.

Trane evaporator coil leaking refrigerant. Coil was ordered from Trane factory and delivered to the local Trane DSO. Installed the new evaporator coil under Trane factory part warranty. Charge system with the required amount of 410 - A refrigerant.

Customer states the blower motor is not working. Found the indoor blower motor on a Tappan airhandler operating but running very slowly and becoming extremely hot. Found the indoor blower motor to be bad. Replaced the motor with a new 1/3 horsepower motor.
