Dispatched our Manteca California commercial HVAC technician to a mobile phone provider that reported a leaking AC. Manager on duty informed our tech that the leaks only occur when it rains. The technician removed the ceiling tiles and found the return duct directly above the leaks. Once on the roof, the technician found that the filter door on the unit was off and laying on the roof. Replaced and secured the door, which will prevent rain water infiltration. Checked out the system, no more issues to report.
HVAC preventative maintenance scheduled at a mobile coverage provider in Manteca, CA. Our PM tech changed belts, checked filters, cleaned condenser coils and inspected all cooling components. Night and Day equipment older but working well, no problems found.
