I had used this company for 3 years prior and had been satisfied that they were reasonable with the price of the A/C check. I had paid in the vicinity of 79.00, 87.00, & 97.00 dollars which was in our price range. This time I was told that we were somewhat low on Freon and we already had some. The tech added it all in a few minutes. When I got ready to pay, the bill was 224.00. I asked why so high and was told that it was 124.00 to put the Freon in. I feel that we were taken advantage of and will no longer call them for service. I am 74 and my husband is 73 and we live on a fixed income and the least the tech could have done is tell us in advance of the enormous charge to add this. I will no longer call them for service in the future !
