Jeff is very thorough and very concerned, but we have not solved the problem, I will call him again.



I was all happy when the new thermostat was put in, and the temp started reducing, but we continued to have the same problem of 2-8 degrees higher than the set temperature. This causes the unit to run continually and we are not comfortable. Sat 6/5 I set the temp and 70 which is 3-4 degrees higher than our usual setting and it did not get down until 3-4 AM, but the temp in the room was 74 degrees. This unit is only 5 years old this month. We are so concerned and uncomfortable, especially if humid. Another problem I waited almost a month for service when I called, so when the service man came I had asked for new filter, he did not know about it. Then when I told him the problem about the temperature, he thought it was the vents. He charged me ahead for the filter and something else. So when I paid Jeff, I don't know if he charged me for the filter again, we paid for thermostat, and I don't remember what the other thing was. I wish we could get a better look at charges before they are sent on our e-mail. I trust Jeff and he was thorough, but the problem is not solved. I will call Jeff to come again. But really I feel like calling another company to check the system and send RSA the bill. I am always happy to have Jeff service our system, but there is something wrong that it might take an engineer. We have had RSA under contract service and bought the $7,500 unit installed on the roof plus the work on the inside of the house with duct work and some other improvements. We cannot put an electronic filter because it is a heat pump, I believe. I think Jeff is excellent, but we have a problem that has not been detected.
