Upon arrival found house needing some renovation towards plumbing after further review will relay to sales lead to give a better quote on work needed.
Compressor is grounded out and is tripping the breaker. I made an estimate to replace the compressor. I informed the customer about the service memberships and saving 15% on repairs. Customer has been told the compressor is under warranty. I tried calling to find out but was unable to verify. I made a form for the office to check and contact the customer. I uploaded pictures of the units data plate and the compressor data plate. Also I noticed the compressor is a 2 stage compressor but due to limited thermostat wires it’s only been operating as a single stage compressor. It may be beneficial to wire the stages together.
On arrival found system with multiple problems ,leak,bad Contactor,bad bad cap .unit is 18 years old. Customer can't make a discision today and schedule an estimate for Saturday.unit is not operating
Installed new capacitor. Checked operation.
