Found system is 10 yrs old and is running rough home owner wants a new system office will call to schedule a comfort adviser.
Found the j-trap with no vent caused the ss2 water safety switch to have intermittent issues.
Found that the installers made a make-shift adapter and hose clamp to connect mini-split drain to pvc and never tightened the hose clamp down tightened tested equipment nt no leak if it leaks in future the install warranty should cover the replacement coupling and labor.
Capacitor failed has Goodman 10/10
Found system frozen. Found clean out cap on wrong side of the j-trap. Found unit full of water the return box insulation is saturated. Found fan speed put on speed tap 2 which is two low for a 2.5 ton system with dampers and flex. Found air filter brand new. Cleared drainline thawed system out adjusted speed tap to 3. Checked charge system system is cooling, dehumidifying,and draining at this time covered by install warranty.
Found capacitor has failed part warranty and east coast member ship.
Found ss2 switch tripped. But drainlines are clear. Reset as she is a east coast service agreement holder no charge for diag.
Found system running found pressures good cold air coming out vents and condensation drainline is running solid stream out. Only thing I can see is the damper that last tech diagnosed is bad.
Supported duct work with web straps. Mastic taped to plenum and unit and the seal with mastic seal. Cleared drainline as it was clogged system is running, cooling, dehumidifying, and draining at this time.
Found ss2 switch tripped. Cleared the drainline appeared to be clear. Unit up and running and cooling and draining properly home owner pours bleach in drain at unit.
Found a bad TXV. Sent quote to homeowner for TXV and refrigerant. May be interested in a new system upgrade. Diagnostics fee was charged.
Found system completely no power cycled breakers got system running found filters clogged home owner is replacing soon.
Upon arriving I greeted the tenants and began my work. The Delta T was -9Â° which is not going cool the house. After further inspection of airflow and refrigerant I found the 2nd floor unit had half of the refrigerant it should have. The first floor unit was also low but not to that degree. The homeowner approved charging the system to the manufactures specifications. He also approved for us to come back and do a leak search. No date was promised. System is operating as it should.
Found subcooling off adjusted 1 lbs into system. system is cooling, dehumidifying and draining.
Re-attached the drainline so the condensation drainline will be outside of the flower bed away from the structure. Waived diag with repair.
