Duct Cleaning

The team was very polite and courteous, however, I thought that the final clean up would have been better than it was. I expected them to at least put down some plastic (or some sort of covering) as each duct was cleaned. Paper shoes were not worn during the process, only on initial entrance. Not sure if I would recommend this service to anyone. The maintenance branch of Swift that handled our heat pump service was 100% better.

Response from Swift Services Heating & Cooling:

Hello, Robert and Vicki, I am sorry to hear that our team failed to clean up their mess. This is not like our guys, and I will be having the manager look into this. At Swift services, when we are invited into a customer home, we take pride in our workspace and clean up; I am not sure why this didn't happen and will inform management at once.

Duct Cleaning

I believe this is a valuable service as it may save money on energy bill and surely will make the air feel cleaner. Technicians were fairly efficient and courteous though clean-up following the mess the process produced could have been better and placing a larger area covered by a drop cloth would have been a good idea.

Response from Swift Services Heating & Cooling:

Hi, Cali, I am glad to hear your Duct Cleaning went well, it certainly will help with breathing in clean air, especially this time of year when flu season is upon us. I am very sorry to hear the installers left a mess behind them, which is undoubtedly not Swift Services protocol, and we are known for having a clean workspace. I have asked management to look into this immediately so we can get this fixed, so it doesn't happen again in the future. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Swift services responded to a service call with reports that a heat pump system was blowing out cold air in the heat mode. Upon arrival the homeowner had the thermostat set to heat mode and at 70°f. The room temperature was maintained at 70°f. In the attic I found that the air flow was acceptable and the supply temperature was coming out well over 100°f. The homeowner was likely experiencing feeling the supply air while a defrost cycle was active which can feel like cool air coming out, I found no issues with the system.

Swift services performed a Tune-Up of the heat pump system for the home. The homeowners have had no issues to report and are utilizing the auto feature of their thermostat. I changed out the Blue Tube UV bulb because it had burnt out and put a “Sta-Clean” strip for an additional drain treatment in the pan. In this invoice please note that I went in and adjusted the price of the bulb replacement to include the discount for a maintenance member, disregard the additional savings below because they already been applied.

Swift services came out to perform a Tune Up of a split system heat pump but were unable to because the heat was not workin properly. I found a failed reversing valve after a multiple step diagnostic process. The homeowner does not live here full time and therefore, we will have to enter the home while he is not here, refer to the file notes for more details.

Completed tune up. Suction Pressure: 111 psi Liquid Pressure: 405 psi 10kw Electric Heater: 42amps Blower Capacitor (15): 16.1 MFD Run Capacitor (45/10): 45.2/8.9 MFD Cleared primary drain. Home owner stated the upstairs bedroom was not receiving airflow and was 10° colder. We found the damper to be stuck in the closed position. Gave the home owner and estimate for replacement. She elected to leave the damper in the open position with the wires disconnected. She is aware this will allow extra heat upstairs even when the thermostat is satisfied. She will call back for replacement.
