Swift services performed the 2nd Tune-Up as a part for the homeowners Silver service agreement. The system is getting older and therefore the homeowners need to start preparing for replacement but everything is functioning at this time. There is a new capacitor on the outdoor unit which appears to be oversized for the equipment; this can damage the compressor overtime is over-amping begins to occur.

Arrived to perform maintenance on clients units. Sprayed and added algicide tablets to coils to help kill bacteria and break down any sludge that may be in the drain line. There is no water in the safety Ss2 switch. Tested safety switch and it is working the way that it should. Home is being supplied by 102 degrees and counting. Filter is clean (20x25). Tested 40/5 dual run capacitor :(40.9/4.8). Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. Inspected low and high voltage wiring. All wires are tight and in good shape and getting the correct amperage. At this time system is functioning properly.

On arrival I found the outdoor unit flashing a “high pressure lockout” code. Recovered a small amount of refrigerant and monitored the system’s operation.
