Not the Professionals I'm Used To

He came in talking on his phone and wasn't going to put on shoe covers until I stopped him. Then he hung up, but when he was outside he was back on the phone. Part of the cleaning released a foul-smelling chemical into the house. I asked about it, because I'd never encountered it before, and it caused wheezing. He said it's always used, but I'd never had my windows closed before. How did he think he knew that? He was wrong. Maybe he used too much?

Bob was very pleasant and professional! He went out of his way to maintain social distancing. He was thorough and very efficient. He changed our air filter for us which is a very difficult job for my husband. He gave us a complete explanation of all that he did and made a few suggestions of some things we could do to maintain the efficiency of our system.

Annual maintenance

Tech was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable but I was very disappointed that he didn’t have the correct size filters in his truck. I now have to go out and buy them myself...whenever it becomes safe to do so.

Hi Nancy, I apologize that the tech didn't have the correct size filter on his truck. Typically our technicians have the common filters on their truck at all times, and if a customer has a special filter they pick them up before going out to the house. I will see what happened and why they didn't have them on their truck.

Performed the 3rd tune up on a ECAA. Delta T measured at -18 degrees. Cleaned Evaporator and Condenser coils. Cleared the drain line. The capacitor is testing at 43.2MFD which is in range of 45/5. Refrigerant levels are sufficient at this time. The system is operating as it should.

On arrival customer had the system off, said yesterday he went up and turned it on felt it didn’t blow cold air. Checking it today the cooling operating is operating properly. 53 supply air temp 73 return air temp, indoor temp 75 outdoor temp 70 suction pressure 135 VSAT 48 Head pressure 220 LSAT 82 at this time there are no issues present I suggest leaving it at a set point and not leaving off then turning on when it’s hot upstairs. It takes a few minutes with 410a

Preformed prepaid maintenance on a Lennox split heat pump system, model and serial number match in system. Checked filters and checked pressures checked amp draws cleaned coils and cleaned drain line, added algae tabs to drain pan for drain line prevention. Checked wiring connections and checked duct work. All systematic components are working properly at this time. Recommended and installed blue tube kit for air handler due to growth forming inside.

On arrival I found a Goodman package unit that was installed December 2019 only operating in the heating cycle, there was no o signal from the control. Checked programming, settings, bypass control to diagnose the cause I determined it was in fact a thermostat failure. Inspected the low voltage wire under the house and it may need to be replaced in the near future I explained to our customer there would be a charge for replacing the wire if and when needed as it was not apart of the new equipment warranty. At this time the cooling operation is now back working. Outdoor temp 79 indoor temp 85 pressures 140-315 r410a

Swift Services responded to a call back service with reports of air flow malfunctions from a zoned split system heat pump. When we were last here the homeowner was having issues getting air flow to a certain area of the home; now that same area is getting air flow unnecessarily. I found that the damper was unable to close on its own and therefore should be replaced. I’ll have filled out the necessary paperwork to order the damper and return to replace it. There has been an estimate generated for the job.
