Found a small piece of tape on the supply of the air handler. Discussed duct cleaning. Home owner declined at this time.
Found downstairs zone closed...zone board ok motor ok found broken wire at damper motor, repaired and recorded temperatures before and after.
Found bad blower motor module. Will be back to install into the am.
Completed tune up.
Compressor overheating. No error codes. Will return when tech support is available. Enabled Emergency heat mode to run the system through the night.
Performed tune up for service agreement member, first.
Upon arrival I bumped up the temp to 65 amp checked the system over. system pressures are good, heat kit is pulling proper amps, I have a good temp rise (delta -T) system is operating normally at this time.
Found zone 3 damper wire loose, attached wire correctly and damper opened. Warranty service no charge.
Upon arrival I greeted the customer and started my work. I soon found that the noise was comping from the suction port for the package unit. It had broken away from the houseing. So after securing it I cheked the system over for any other issues. Refrigerant pressures are good, air flow is good. And drain is good. I did find that the high voltige for this system is improperly done. Both the heat kit and the unit are running on the same breaker and the high voltige for the heat kit is improperly secured to the contactor. Note: swift services is not responsible for any future issues due to this faulty wiring. We did not install this equipment. We recommend haveing our electrician come out and investigate. System is operating normally at this time.
Tune up comleted
Completed tune up, renewed service agreement. Several issues with system, burnt wire at compressor, severe rust and growth at air handler, bypass duct not functioning correctly, and only half of heat strips working.
Seasonal maintenance was performed to ensure safe and proper operation of the HVAC system, todays testing was conducted in the heat mode. Ultimately the system performed well under testing. I educated the homeowner on improving his air quality with our Blue Tube UV system and also saving energy costs with a start assist device. Maintenance data gathered is as follows: Return air filter status: Assisted the homeowner in changing the (20x20) filter he had ready for use and cleaned the filter grill, Tested 7KW heater: 29.17, Applied coil spray and algicide to cut bacteria and scale, Inspected accessible duct work, Checked wire connections, Tested safety switches: Pan switch and SS2, Tested 40/5 dual run capacitor: 39.89/5.4, Manually tested system defrost, Monitored system pressure: 128psig Suction, Conditions during maintenance procedures: Conditions include but are not limited to, an outdoor ambient temperature of 59Â°f.
