Perfomed tune up for service agreements member. Found very low in 510a refrigerant due to leaking case coil that needs replaced. Turned over to assessments manager.

Checked unit, client said stopped cooling and was 80 degrees in home the other day. System operated correctly when turned on, blower running, pressures correct. Outdoor unit shut off while checking, not sure if was from checking float switch. But kicked back on before I could find any issue. Stopped and started system several times, everything working properly at this time. Will let us know if issues persist.

Performed 1st SSA t/u on a Lennox split system heat pump. Delta T measured at —19 degrees. Tightened down wiring. Cleaned Evaporator and Condenser coils. Cleared the drain line. Capacitor is testing at 44.5MFD which is in range to 45/5. The refrigerant levels are sufficient at this time. System is operating as it should.

2 ton heil unit for upstairs model H4H324GKA100 serial E063800082 air handler FSM4X2400A1 A064684731 was completely out of refrigerant on arrival. Indoor coil confirmed to be the cause of the refrigerant leak. Customer has three systems this one is for upstairs in a closet. Customer would like to be billed and at this time he does not want a salesman he wants to wait and check refrigerant on his next maintenance. I recommended that he have a comfort advisor call him as this refrigerant will not last.

Swift Services responded to a service call with reports of an odor that was making the homeowner very ill. The smell was described as sweet and was irritating the homeowners nostrils and breathing. I inspected the air handler thoroughly and the homeowner and I agreed to temporarily disconnect the Blue Tube UV light system; note that this system does not produce ozone and rather is a Photo-catalytic oxidizing bulb which kills harmful bacteria that can develop on the surfaces inside the air handler. I operated the system and checked air flow (static pressure/blower speed), refrigerant charge, looked at the evaporator tray (where water drains from and collects), amongst other diagnostics. The system is performing well and we will now have to wait and see if the smell improves from the bulb being disconnected.
