Swift services responded to a service call reporting no heat. I diagnosed a failed thermostat and defrost board. Given the age of the equipment we believe it would be best to have the system as a whole replaced, however I did draft an estimate for just the repair alone and fill out a return for service form should we need to return. The homeowners are going to have one of our Comfort advisors over tomorrow morning to look at repair versus replacement. The homeowners had no heat so we replaced the thermostat with a Honeywell T6 so that they’d have access to emergency heat for the weekend. New installation includes this thermostat anyway.
Performed tune up for service agreement member. Two systems.

Condenser making a minor vibration sound. Two screws were not completely tight when panel was put back on previously. Tightened screws- vibrations stopped.
Swift services came out to perform the first tune up and renewal of the homeowners biannual maintenance agreement. In reference to the history we have at the home I did not find refrigerant levels to be in jeopardy today. Heat mode performance from the equipment was satisfactory and safe at this time. I would still advise the homeowners to prepare for replacement by having us out for an estimate.
Arrived to perform maintenance on clients units. Sprayed and added algicide tablets to coils to help kill bacteria and break down any sludge that may be in the drain line. There is no water in the pan or safety Ss2 switch. Tested safety switch and it is working the way that it should. Home is being supplied by 107 degrees and rising. Filter is clean (20x20). Tested 35/5 dual run capacitor: (34.58/4.67). Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. Inspected low and high voltage wiring. All wires are tight and in good shape and getting the correct amperage. At this time system is functioning properly.

Clean and check, Trane system running well.
Performed first Tune Up of the current Silver Service agreement. Also the homeowner has cited excess noise from the outdoor unit. I found that there were vibrations around the service valves. I put some rubber vibration pads in certain areas that reduced the metal on metal contact and quieted the noise; however I told the homeowner that time would tell if we needed to look at any other solutions.
Performed tune up for service agreement member. Updated existing equipment.
