Professional Service

The technician arrived early, explained what the service was going to entail, and went right to work. At the end of his maintenance he explained all the A/C system checks he performed and what results he recorded, as well as how the full system was operating. I even saw the technician wipe down the whole casing of the outside unit. Shows thoroughness.

EJ REPRESENTED SWIFT WELL

I was really impressed with Swift's service technician EJ. He arrived for this appointment on time and explained what he was going to be doing during this call. Not only did he do what was expected but he made sure that I knew and understood what had to be done in the immediate future for my equipment to perform to its fullest potential. I found EJ to be professional and respectful not only for me personally, but I also appreciated his concern for my satisfaction with his work. Thank you Swift. Found Thermostat settings incorrect, fixed settings and did system analysis and system is running according to mfg specs at this time.

Performed tuneup. No water in pan. Sprayed coils with a coil cleaner and added algicide tablets. Tested safety switches. Home is being provided with degrees. Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. Inspected low and high voltage wiring. All wires are tight and in good shape and getting the correct amperage. At this time system is functioning properly.

Arrived to perform maintenance on clients units. Sprayed and added algicide tablets to coils to help kill bacteria and break down any sludge that may be in the drain line. There is no water in the pan. Tested safety switch and it is working the way that it should. Home is being supplied by 126degrees. Filter is clean (20x25). Tested 35/5 dual run capacitor :(35/4.79). Checked defrost mode. Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. Inspected low and high voltage wiring. All wires are tight and in good shape and getting the correct amperage. Cleaned condenser and gave it a good wax layer to help prolong the lifespan of the unit and help prevent it from rusting sooner. At this time system is functioning properly.

Swift services responded to a service call where one of our Comfort specialist went out to a condo home and the equipment was reportedly stuck on. The homeowner shut it down by way of the breaker when they found that unit wouldn’t shut down. After evaluating the equipment I found that the only issue was the fan was in the “On” position at the thermostat. I checked out the full system. Homeowner declined a Silver Service agreement at this time.

Tested 45/5 dual run capacitor:(35.4/4.5). Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. Inspected low and high voltage wiring. All wires are tight and in good shape and getting the correct amperage. At this time system is functioning properly.

Swift services came out to complete the 2nd Tune-Up included in the homeowners previously existing maintenance agreement. After completing the steps of our maintenance check list I also discussed with the homeowner that the dual capacitor was testing lower than desired. The 45/5 dual capacitor came out to read 29/2.5, and with this low percentage of strength it could lead to higher electric bills or failed starts.
