Michael was extremely courteous, efficient and honest in checking out my A/C System. He fixed my thermostat e with a battery change and clearly explained the different parts of the system he was checking and the current condition as he went through his inspection. Customer said that the upstairs A/C system was not working. When I approached the unit, noticed that the condenser fan was turning backwards and the compressor was not starting. I went to check the capacitor and found that a critter called inside the unit and shorted out the capacitor. I changed the capacitor and the compressor start just as it should and condenser fan was turning the correct way. I check the charge of the system and found that the charge was a little lite. I was probably left that way by the original installers so added 2 lbs of refrigerant to top off the charge. Asked the customer if he wanted me to check the charge on the other system. Found that the other system was the same way and added two pounds to that system too.
New customer called and said that water was dripping from his drain pan. He said that I could come on Tuesday morning to clear his drain line. I cleared his drain line, vacuumed his drain pan, washed his condenser and showed him how he could clean his evaporator coil.
