I called another electrician for a second opinion. He had the part on his truck, which Roger was unable to locate, and manufactured a replacement wire for the frayed wire, which Roger implied could not be done. He said that Roger was not wrong in his assessment of the problem, and that the average electrician would not disassemble the panel to inspect its condition. He admitted that he might get himself into trouble disassembling the panel, but was willing to do so to fully analyze the problem. He found no problems with the panel except for its age. He said the True Tech price was excessive, and that he could do the same job for half the price.
