I completed spring tune up on a Lennox air conditioner. I visually inspected the furnace. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked voltage and amps. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I returned to the customer's home to install a 16x25x4 media cabinet.
I completed an installation inspection on a Five Star Multi-Speed 2.5 Ton Electric Furnace/Fan and Five Star 15 SEER 2.5 Ton Heat Pump. Completed installation checklist. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on a Five star Electric furnace and Heat Pump. I determined that the furnace is unlevel, the previous Plenum had dropped on one side an 1 1/2”. The furnace wasn’t supported on all 4 corners. The filter was very difficult to take out without tearing, the cold air return was not level. Repairs to be completed on following day.
I completed a callback install. Had to secure Plenum to the floor joist, re-fabricate transition from Plenum to furnace, move drop over and add a better filter rack to bring the installation of the Five Star furnace to standards. I will be giving the client two extra filters (16x25x4) to replace the ones that he has already purchased online.
I returned to the customer's home to inspect the installation of a Five Star 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace 3T 17" and a Five Star 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner. Both systems are working and operating according to manufacturer's specifications.
I completed a service call for an unlevel air handler, HP has dings, and Return looks terrible. Found Furnace unlevel, furnace not supported on all 4 corners. Discussed plan with customer.
