I Arrived at clients house to perform installation inspection and to see why suction line was dripping. The System was in cooling mode but when I approached the furnace I could barely hear the blower running. I Checked the dip switches and found they were correct. I Checked wiring and found cooling conductor was on “Y1” rather than “Y” causing too low of s fan speed and allowing too low of evaporator coil temp. I Switched wire over to “Y” terminal and the fan ramped up to more of a cooling speed. Also furnace was not put on any type of feet. The unit is sitting directly on the floor. Thermostat only has 4 conductors meaning the thermostat is battery dependent. Running new stat wire is recommended and looks possible. Otherwise an “add a wire” should be installed. I Completed inspection and unit is performing at this time.
I installed a Carrier 80% 70,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner. I cycled and monitored the systems and they are both operational at this time. I also replaced the return drop.
Upon arrival at the clients house and perform insulation inspection. I verified model and serial numbers of the equipment and the system is operational at departure.
We are replacing the newly installed 2.5 Ton AC with a customer requested 2 Ton AC as the customer believes it will resolve the customers humidity concerns. We believe the issue is actually caused from excessive airflow from the current furnace and not the size of the AC. We are replacing the AC today free of charge to meet our satisfaction guarantee. If this solution doesn’t remedying the concerns, charges will apply for future changes.
I completed an installation inspection on a Five Star 17 SEER 2 STAGE 4 Ton Air Conditioner. Completed installation checklist. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
During an inspection on the installation of a Carrier 96% 40,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioner, I verified that the units were properly installed and operating within manufacturers specifications. All good at this time.
I performed an installation inspection on a Carrier 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner. Everything checked out within specs. System is operational upon departure.
