2013 comfort maker high efficiency natural gas furnace heating system tune-up, maintenance, cleaning, and safety inspection Run test all equipment in multi-stage heating, remove and flush drain trap assembly, resurface flame sensor and inspecting igniter, shop-vac all equipment, replace air filter and humidifier pad with supplies already on site. Test run humidifier and confirm controls on nest thermostat. Perform furnace combustion analysis and performance inspection at 93% EFF with 7.0% oxygen and 14 PPM co Internal house airstream inspection confirms 20.9% oxygen and zero PPM Co Basement system is clean safe and ready for winter Homeowner will set humidity on the nest thermostat when the time is right
Install 4 gas unit heaters in hangar *** Does not include HVAC permit if needed. *** 8/29 BP Hang uni-strut and run stat wires for all four systems. 9/4 BP GM NG hang all 4 heaters, install all 4 stats, run one flue. Material left on jobsite. Low voltage needs hooked up to units.
Upon arrival, system is in off mode. Turned thermostat to cool and down to 65 to ensure operation. Inspection if indoor unit shows that blower is running. While down there, for approximately 1 second, with a 10 second pause, a vibrating noise can be heard. Inspection of outdoor unit shows that the fan is running, but the compressor is not. The noise being heard is the compressor attempting to run. Tested 50/5uf capacitor at 14/4.9uf. Capacitor is way out of range on the compressor leg, directly preventing the compressor from operating. Installed new 50/5uf capacitor for testing. With new capacitor installed, system came on as it should. Fan and compressor are both operational. Did not check refrigerant as there is no issues suspected at this time. System is operational in cooling at this time. Contacted Goodman for parts warranty status. Goodman says equipment was not registered and the 5yr parts warranty eneded in June of 2025. New capacitor comes with 1 year parts warranty and 30 day

Preventative maintenence inspection on four geothermal systems. One Waterfurnace 5 Series package unit, three Carrier Package units, two vertical, and one horizontal. Second and thru floor units filter in clean condition. Basment system filter changed. Flush drain traps and drain pans. Test ran operation of all units from respective thermostats. Tested refrigerant on third floor Carrier system with refrigerant problems. Pressures are still within spec since Seth's visit on August first. Did not check refrigerant on other systems as there are no issues found or suspected. All systems are in operating condition and ready to go.
Drain was leaking around the tapered threaded fitting. Cut and tighten fitting glue in coupler for line and add cap to secondary hole. Unit has a pan float switch so does not need ss2 on secondary but hole was open allowing water to leak from it. After repairs were made flushed line with two buckets of water had no leaks after repairs.

System was in off mode upon arrival. Turned thermostat to cooling mode to perform test. Indoor unit blower came on as it should. Inspect3d outdoor unit and found that fan on top is spinning, but compressor is not. Found that 45/5uf dual run capacitor is reading at 0/2.5uf. Compressor is not getting proper power for operation. Replaced failed capacitor with new 45/5uf capacitor and test run operation. System cam on, both fan and compressor, and suction line got cold. Did not check refrigerant as there is no issues suspected at this time. System is operating in cooling at this time.
