We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.

Geothermal had 155 occurrences of FP1 fault Last lockout was FP1 With aurora aid tool, monitored fp1 During start up, it went down to -11 and came back up in a short enough period of time to not trigger the fault Checked wiring of fp1, no issues found Used temperature clamp on TXV outlet to compare to fp1 numbers, fp1 was fluctuating a lot while the actual temperature of the line remained steady. Also found high pressure switch Bypassed Verified it is stuck open We will send a quote to replace fp1 sensor and install a service port tee with a high pressure switch

Upon arrival inspected system and found no major concerns. Listened for noise once in attic and couldn’t recreate noise they were getting. It is only when the furnace is running it was rattling was the information I was given, couldn’t get any noises from unit. Moved a large rodent trap to get to furnace, suspect the rodent trap was rattling because it engaged as soon as I bumped it. Informed homeowner to call us back if noise continues but cannot recreate noise at this time.
Furnace locked out for 3 hours on high temperature limit Reset power, jumped out thermostat to run heat and bypass the time delay from power reset Furnace came on normally Set gas pressure to 3.0" Let Furnace run a while until confident the limit wasn't going to trip Pulled jumpers off (thermostat calling for heat at the same time), blower motor stopped while everything else continues to run This explains limit trips Found common wire for blower loose Tried to duplicate fault Furnace continued to run property after securing blower wire
