Greg and his colleague did awesome job balancing and providing recommendations. He also uncovered an issue that was kind a hidden.
We have used Weston air on several properties and the service is always professional and mechanically well done. The price is fair. What we like is that it’s very realizable,
We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.
Showed up in a timely manner and explained everything very well

R22 system. Low on refrigerant. Blower and indoor coil are also plugged with dirt due to no proper filter rack. Filter sitting inside the blower cabinet is not sufficient to keep the system clean. Furnace is also old and in very poor shape. Outdoor unit high voltage does not have a service disconnect.
Replacement warranty Compressor has a terrible mechanical noise Getting warranty replacement from Bryant Investigated filter getting dirty quickly. Got into the attic and inspected the return ductwork Nothing is disconnected, everything is also well insulated.
Gas heating preventative maintenance performed Check filter - 16x20x1 Clean flame sensor Ohm test igniter: 48.4 Inspect wiring for loose connections and/or hot spots - Check humidifier pad: N/A attic Inspect exhaust flu - no leaks / no concerns Set thermostat for heat Check delta T - 45° Furnace is in optimal running conditions Furnace filter door will pull up and off.
1st floor equipment will turn on in air conditioning mode but does not produce cooling System running refrigerant pressure test indicates a complete loss of all refrigerant Nitrogen pressure testing discovered a failed aluminum weld joints on the discharge line distribution manifold of the condenser coil Aluminum condenser coil needs replaced Parts warranty has been confirmed with 3 years remaining.
Upon arrival inspected furnace and with initial startup the inducer motor does not fully spin up as it should, when checking for voltage the motor was not receiving power and was not pulling amps. Control board was making a loud abnormal buzzing. Quote warranty control board, labor only no diag because I was just here for cooling maintenance.
Counting today as the heating maintenance. EEV on thr outdoor unit had a broken wire. Spliced the wire back together Performed heating maintenance Filter new Replaced steam cannister, electrodes, and in-line water filter Tested auxiliary heat strips, all 4 elements are pulling 20A each. Heat pump operating properly at this time.
Replace Trane OEM heat exchanger Install replacement flame sensor Bleed gas line Fire off heat mode Adjust belt tension
Two Honeywell VisionPro8000 thermostats Replace collector box on both furnaces
Upon arrival inspected furnace and found unit code 24 with blown 24v fuse. Installed test resettable fuse and test run system, no errors until ac unit cycles, inspected outdoor unit and found shorted 24v 1 pole contactor. Coil for part was burnt and reading 0.8ohms. Replaced with 1 pole contactor and test run system. After repairs unit came on cooling with no issues, I do not have a spare 3a fuse on my truck so lil popper will act as permanent fuse until we return for heating maintenance.
Upon arrival today the powered attic exhaust fan was venting completely clearing the attic of any heat and possible gas fumes or build up. Electronic testing followed by micro leak gel confirmed a steady stream of natural gas leakage at the threaded joint of the half inch stopcock Shut down attic supply line at the 1-in tap in the basement Replace half inch stop valve on attic Repressurize and retest with electronic All equipment is ready for full service. Power was never interrupted and thermostat settings were never changed

Performed 5 system cooling maintenance Changed all filters. Westin provided (4) 20x20x2 filters for the large unit. The rest were supplied by the VFW. Smaller unit servicing the pool table area has NO provision for installing a filter. Considering age (9yrs) and never having a filter, the indoor coil is in OK condition. Checked refrigerant charge on the 3 split systems The old unit is not running ideal numbers but still cooling. If it fails to keep up, replacement will be necessary. Washed Condenser coils. Used duct mastic to seal as much of the outdoor portion ductwork for the big bar area unit. Got in the attic to survey the ductwork for that system There appears to be abandoned ductwork for an entire system that no longer exists and the heat runs and returns have been tied into the big unit's ductwork. Solving the duct deficiencies will be a massive undertaking. Discussed adding two 24k btu mini split systems to the bar area to supplement the cooling on hot/busy days. Dan want
