We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.

Performed maintenance on the 4 working unite Replaced all filters: (4) 20x20x2 20x25x2 (2) 16x25x1 Cleaned flame sensors Checked capacitors Ran combustion test on the old unit (passed for healthy heat exchanger) Checked blowers Blower belt OK on big unit out back No water leaks present Blower wheels in good condition No concerns found at this time
Upon arrival, system is operating in heating with no Water flow errors showing. Tested refrigerant pressures and temperatures, tester air temperature rise, and tested water temperature drop. Unable to test water pressure do to no pressure ports or guages. Well pump guage is reading 60psi during operation and 65psi during idl3 time. Refrigerant pressures are within spec per operation manual based on ~50F incoming water temperature. Temperature rise of 27F is within specs. Water temperature drop is on the low side of ~4F. This could be two things being that there is an abundance of water flow, or that the transfer of heat is not as efficient as it should be. In the case of heat transfer efficiency loss, due to the system being an open loop we'll system and the geo unit getting its source water before the water softener, it is possible that there is scale buildup on the inside of the pipes leading to decreased water flow, and the scale buildup acting as an insulator and keeping the water
Preventative maintenence inspection on Tempstar furnace running in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter in good condition. Clean flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Run test unit in heating mode from thermostat. Temperature rise is within specs. Blower and inducer motors tested good with no unusual noises. 2" pvc flue in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter. Bob expressed concern about an unusual noise from two vents, one return in the master bedroom, and one supply vent in a bathroom. During test run, no unusual noises were heard from either vent, or from furnace. Suspect thatcit is the vent grills vibrating. Recommend trying to re-mount return vent to ensure it is not loose, and inspecting supply vent to ensure there are no parts that are loose. If return vent grill vibrates when tight to the wall, it may be necessary to r
