Upon arrival discovered bad capacitor got power back to the unit and blower motor not operating properly. New blower motor was installed but soon as power was put to new motor it continued to trip breaker all wiring correct. Motor would start an extremely low speeds. Universal motor bad out of the box. Will have to return with another motor
Upon arrival, inspected air conditioner and found bad 45+5 capacitor. Repaired with a 30+5 and added a 15 to the 30 circuit to build it into a 45+5 due to me running out of 45+5 capacitors. Test run unit after repairs and discovered no further issues.
Upon arrival inspected unit and found bad run capacitor 45+5 quote Turbo 200 because I am out of 45+5. Unit came on cooling after replacing capacitor
Upon arrival found 1 tripped breaker for system. Unit getting 120v not 240v. Reset power and check amp draw. Nothing pulling high amps currently, swapped out all the wire nuts I used when motor was replaced for butt connectors to avoid potential amperage increase. Unit is cooling with 11° subcool. Pulling 9.8 amps total
Need to order TXV for coil. Unit raising head pressure and lowering suction not functioning
Install new homeowner provided Honeywell T10 thermostat, program, and connect sensor. 2024 Trane AC system running in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter in good condition. Left new one next to furnace. Visual inspection of indoor coil. Flush drain pan and drain lines. Humidifier damper is closed. Run test unit in cooling mode from thermostat. Delta t of 21F with supply temp of 51F. Refrigerant pressure are within spec. 310psi with 11F SC, low 120psi with 12F SH. Water flushed outdoor coils to remove dirt and debris. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer.
Upon arrival found bad 15mfd capacitor. Replaced cap anf test ran unit. Unit came in n and fan started up no problem. Advised employees to leave unit off till approx 5:30-6:00 and unit should start cooling again once fully thawed.
Waterfurnace had 55 occurances of E10 fault "compressor monitoring" Capacitor rated 40m measured 29 Replaced capacitor System operating normally at this time

Run test unit in cooling mode from thermostat. Delta t of 20F with supply temp of 52F. Refrigerant pressures are within spec. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. Outdoor coils are in clean condition. System is operating properly, efficiently, and ready for Summer.
Discovered airflow issue in wall from furnace to 2nd floor supply trunk going to 3rd floor. 0.0IWC in 2nd floor bathroom trunk and 0.40IWC at furnace supply. Unit has a broken connection or kinked connection behind drywall. Advised Kevin to either cut out and find issue or invest in a minisplit for upper level Needs quote for minisplit on 3rd level
Put system into test mode, ran cooling capacity at maximum for 30 minutes. No active faults, all numbers are within nominal range. Refrigerant numbers look good If fault occurs again, turn circuit breakers off for 30 seconds and turn back on to restore operation.
Pull and clean entire blower system. While removed, clean blower compartment and secondary heat exchanger and perform inspection. Clean out combustion compartment of leaves and debris. Perform preventative maintenence inspection on 2015 Carrier AC system. System is running in good condition. 20x25x1 air filter is new today. Visual inspection of indoor coil. Flush drain pan and drain lines. Run test unit in cooling mode from thermostats for zone system. Test ran with each zone by themselves and both at the same time. All three running conditions are operating withing the delta T spec of 17-22F. Water flushed outdoor coils to remove dirt and debris. Refrigerant pressures are within spec. High 315psi with 9F SC, low 115psi with 11F SH. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. Point of condensation on ductwork in basement. Did not witness any condensation while on site today. Ductwork air temperature with clean filter is within specifications of unit operation guide

Both main systems low on refrigerant Topped off both units and added sealant/dye pack to both.
Upon arrival found compressor would not start up. Inspected terminals and they’re melted and not repairable. Replacement compressor not available for unit. Unfortunately unit needs to be replaced. Furnace 21” Plenum 26”
