Excellent service

We have used Weston air on several properties and the service is always professional and mechanically well done. The price is fair. What we like is that it’s very realizable,

Outstanding Company!

We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.

Concentric intake/exhaust termination kit installed incorrectly so the exhaust was being directed back towards the house. Large gaps present in the J block around the pipes. Put thumb gum putty around the pipes and installed termination kit in the correct orientation.

Upon arrival, thermostats are properly set. Inspection of furnace shows a code e11 for gas valve error. Upon checking the gas valve, found no error. Called Trane tech support who confirmed that it is a bad controlboard. Control board is ordered and will call back to schedule once parts are in hand.

Multiple issues to address upon arrival, inspected observatory and found no hot water going to 2nd level for observatory or kids wing. Inspected boilers and units were in burner lockout status. Restarted boiler with Ralph’s permission and verified heating reaches 2nd floor post restarting boilers. Units heating up stairs now and humidity should come down with operation, set point for thermostat at 40%. No dehumidifiers on 2nd level basement units all at 50% for dehumidification. Master humidifier is at 40% and functioning. Beauty salon humidifier was not running, turned humidifier on for salon. Adjusted blower speeds on master system to minimum allowed set point to reduce as much blower noise as possible. Dessert air system tripped on high pressure error. Found no concerns with dessert Aire after restarting unit.

Upon arrival, there is visible water standing in bottom of furnace cabinet, aswell as a bit around the bottom air box on the floor. Poured water into drain system to locate leak. Found the cabinet penatration fitting leaking at the threaded connection. Disassembled and added Teflon tape to seal the threads. Poured more water through the system and no other leaks were found. Current standing water may take a day or two to dry up. During leak search, noticed that the inducer motor had an extensive amount of water damage. Femi also informed that there has been a previous failed gas valve that needed replaced, aswell as an extensive history of rusty burners and eventually had the burners replaced entirely. All of these issues are common problems with systems that do not have an intake air drain trap installed. During the summer, hot, humid air naturally moving through the vent system is able to condensate, and drip onto the internal components, he inducer motor, gas valve, and burners. I
