We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.

Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Run test unit in gas heating mode. Temperature rise is within specs. Blower and inducer motors tested good. Propane manifold gas pressures are within spec. 2" to 3" pvc flue in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. Humidifier pad is in new condition. Test operation of humidifier and open damper. Furnace is operating properly within specifications. Use Aurora Aid Tool to check for any fault codes on geothermal system. Only codes present are for power failures meaning power outage or power reset and are normal operation codes. Cleared codes. Ground loop pressure test3d within specs. Test ran operation of geothermal heating. Did not check refrigerant as there is no issues suspected at this time. Te
Upon arrival inspected furnace and found unit in limit blower error. Inspected blower and had no operation from yellow -medium/high switched to black High speed and unit started up heating with no issues. Sending quote for PSC blower motor and homeowner would like updated replacement quote, unit for attic was previously quoted but the attic has poor access in the closet on 2nd floor photos added to file.
Horizontal Rheem 80% single stage Diagnosed failed igniter. Replaced igniter Furnace operating normally at this time
Preventative maintenence inspection on three Trane high efficiency gas furnaces running in great condition. All three air filters replaced today. Replaced humidifier pad on main system humidifier. Calcium clogged humidifier pad was causing water leak. Cleaned flame sensors and checked ignitors. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation traps and drain lines. Run test each system in heating mode from thermostat. All systems are operating within specifications for temperature rise, blower Amp draw, inducer Amp draw, and gas pressures. Pvc flue vents are in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. Run test humidifier to ensure no leaks. All systems are operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
Replace bad EEV board with retrofit kit to prevent future issues with intermittent suction temp sensor error. Kit requires an up to date aid tool, the picket tool with abc 4.03 and AXB 4.01 case number 691198 Part # 7sqeck Clean desert Aire secondary coil where fresh air is allowing bug/dirt debris into cabinet. Will need to custom build vacuum arm possibly using pvc and 90° elbow with brush attached and add 6” round filter to pipe to prevent future issues.

Upon arrival inspected system and found errors on furnace for blower conditions past normal. Inspected furnace and found no major concerns, inspected ac coil and found large amounts of oil from refrigerant leaking out inside the coil. Photos were uploaded of leak source being suction line schrader inside coil. Unable to perform repairs today do not have all the required equipment ready yet, will have to return and recover refrigerant repair leak and recharge system. Both units need leveled at time of repair. BRING GRAVEL TO LEVEL HEAT PUMPS. NEED 4 BAGS AT LEAST 2 PER UNIT
Preventative maintenence inspection on three Bryan furnace systems all running properly. Basement systems air filters in clean condition. Replaced attic system filter while up there. Basement systems humidifiers in working order with clean condition water panels. For all furnaces, cleaned flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. For basement systems, flushed through condensation trap and drain lines. Run test each system in heating mode from respective thermostat. Each system is operating with parameters for temperature rise, blower Amp draw, inducer Amp draw, and blower capacitor readings. Humidifiers tested during heating tests. No issues found with furnace systems. Nick mentioned that the two bedrooms upstairs were colder than the master bedroom where the thermostat is. He already keeps the doors open. Recommended turning the fan on for the system to constantly circulate air. Also mentioned that the remote sensors could be used in those rooms and possibly tell
