Outstanding Company!

We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.

Furnace had stored ignition failure codes Flame sensor signal was 6.0 micro amps before cleaning Signal rose to 6.7 after cleaning Checked gas pressure, standing inlet was 10.8" Homeowner adjusted regulator to 13" with the furnace operating Manifold pressure 11" Suspect low gas pressure from potentially frozen regulator No issues found with the furnace itself Exhaust pipe is clear

Upon arrival inspected system and found control board was not properly displaying status. Inspected further and light started flickering while checking board. Connections broken and causing intermittent issues. Control board needs replaced. With age of furnace recomending replacement over repair due to risk of further part failure - Melvin is ready to replace control board but would like a quote for the furnace just to know a price because unit is intermittently operational. I have recommended that he hold off on repair until he has decided on replacement.

Inspection of geothermal unit shows that domestic water line portion of geothermal hot water generator setup is leaking water. Shut off water supply lines to geothermal and turn off HWG switch. This will not hinder geothermal operation. Test ran system in geothermal heating. No other issues with geothermal heating were found or suspected. Cathy will be notified to draw an estimate for full system replacement since the current repair in not possible.

Upon arrival, inspected wiring and found thermostat was properly wired to control humidifier but humidifier was stuck running constantly with heat. Rewired to make furnace control rather than thermostat. Thermostat will still signal it, but furnace is the actual one sending 24 V to it. Humidifier is no longer stuck operating while not having a demand.

Furnace working properly upon arrival Stored fault code 32 for pressure switch Intake screen clear, drain trap clear Possible snow/ice restricting exhaust that needed to melt

Initial inspection if furnace shows that code 3 is active. Code 3 is for pressure switch or inducer error. Further inspection of unit showed that the intake mesh is partially clogged with leaf and bug debris. Inspection of outdoor termination shows that the intake flange is partially clogged with snow and ice. Remove debris from mesh and snow from outdoor intake and test run operation of unit. System is draining water correctly and inducer motor is operating properly. No other issues found or suspected while on site.

Inducer motor is ready to fail any minute, this will stop the furnace from heating at all Getting 1ppm carbon monoxide off the front of the furnace and intermittently around the house on the first floor Considering age of the furnace and AC, cost of repairs required and the fact it's putting off carbon monoxide, strongly recommend system replacement. 2002 Lennox 100kbtu 21" wide 90% furnace 3" intake and exhaust solid core PVC 3.5 ton AC 15' line set 10x24 return drop (2) 8x20 supply trunks 20x25x1 Filter rack 5-conductor thermostat wire to the stat, easy to pull new wire, roughly 20' of wire

Furnace throwing high limit lockout fault (13) Adjusted temperature rise to maintain a steady 52⁰ Furnace would run 10 min or so and go into a 13 fault, never showed a 33 fault (33 fault MUST occurr before the 13 fault shows up) Sometimes it would be right back to a 13 fault after resetting the power While this was happening, using a volt meter, the high limit circuit was being monitored. Not once did the limit circuit actually open up when the 13 fault would occurr. Replaced control board Due to age and alleged history of refrigerant top off every summer for the past 5 years, recommend replacement of the system.

Upon arrival, inspected overlook system found no major concerns with unit. Inspected boilers per Ralph request and boiler #2 was faulted and needed restarted. After restarting boiler 2 temp went from 109 to 160. Once boiler was back up and running changed out all filters for house and car barn. Opened overlook doors to allow master bed air into overlook. Master bed system sounds to have a bad blower motor/blower wheel humming loudly at system and spreading through nearby registers. Warranty motor should be quoted to reduce noise. Pool house is not accessible today due to the snow. It is 2ft+ deep in most places.

Upon arrival, system was operating with no unusual noises heard. Initial inspection of furnace shows that the collector box has started leaking and should be replaced to prevent future water damage to other components. During first fire off test, the blower and inducer motors came on with no unusual noise. After about 20 seconds, the blower motor started to make a high pitched whining noise. Noise lasted for approximately 10 seconds before going away. The noise is due to bearing failure in the motor. Blower motor is prone to fail at any moment and urgently needs replaced. System is currently operating in heat.
