Greg and his colleague did awesome job balancing and providing recommendations. He also uncovered an issue that was kind a hidden.
We have used Weston air on several properties and the service is always professional and mechanically well done. The price is fair. What we like is that it’s very realizable,
We have been a customer of Westin Air for four years now and recently had our old HVAC system replaced by Westin Air. They are the most professional HVAC company we’ve ever had with outstanding service and technical excellent. When I had a question about a new sound from our new system when turning on the furnace, Wes the owner personally came to the house to check it out (the sound was normal to the new system). What service! If you have any HVAC needs, call Westin Air.
Showed up in a timely manner and explained everything very well

Gentleman on site lead me to apartment system in crawl space with compressor out by the pool. Checked indoor unit. Air filter, air flow, and drain system is good. Inspected outdoor compressor unit. Coils are clean and there are no issues found with outdoor equipment. After doing a walk through of the apartment, there are four 4x12 vents on the first floor where most of the cool air is coming from and only two vents on the second floor, one 4x12 and one approximately 2x12 toe kick vent. Attempted to adjust the 4x12 floor vents om first floor for partially close them down to force more air upstairs. Current registers are siezed open as adjustment screw and attempting to manually move the louvers does hot work. Will need new 4x12 registers on first floor to perform air balance. Roy asked about duct cleaning. Westin Air recommends Fresh Air Corps. 614-322-3828
Diagnosed system extremely low on refrigerant. Got authorization to recharge and add sealant/dye System took 4lbs 4oz of R410a refrigerant Condenser coil is not very dirty, filter was OK Recommend using 16x25x5 MERV8 filters. The MERV16 currently in there puts a lot of strain on the blower motor. Signed up for Gold maintenance

Cooling maintenance for three trane systems Filters are good Blowers clean Verified drains are clear Checked dehumidifier North system was producing 10⁰ delta T. Adjusted blower speed. Now getting 16⁰ delta T Also added small amount of refrigerant to that system to balance charge to manufacturer spec Washed outdoor coils with water Advised keeping laundry room vent closed to push more air to the basement bedroom. Concerned that bedroom is hot in the summer. All three systems are operating within manufacturer's specifications at this time
Performed cooling maintenance on three Daikin systems Washed filters on mini split units Used self-rinsing evaporator coil cleaner on mini split indoor coils and Daikin Fit indoor coil Verified drains are flowing properly Filter for upstairs air handler was clean Blower is clean No stored fault codes Washed outdoor coils with water
Check for no cooling later in the afternoon. Homeowner State system was working but throughout the day yesterday it got hotter on the second floor throughout the day. Aprilaire two stage thermostat was turned off upon arrival today. Initial inspection shows all systems in good order Thermostat test run turned on equipment as expected after the normal short cycle delay and ran as expected producing 51 supply temperature. Ground loop water pressure is at 28 PSI with two PSI pressure drop through the heat exchanger and a one pump FC flow center. Climate master 049 2 stage 4 ton equipment has been intentionally installed and wired at the thermostat and the variable speed blower driver board to run in low capacity heat pump compressor mode only. Y2 is not attached at the thermostat or the control board in the air handler. Test run blower system in fan only and cooling mode and confirm correct CFM No battery level indicators on the thermostat however it appears they may be starting to l
