Seth and Gary arrived on time, were neat and thorough in cleaning the entire furnace assembly, including A/C coil, blower etc. Furnace was very dirty. Now sounds better and should run more efficiently. Very happy with their level of knowledge and understanding of what it took to improve furnace efficiency.
Seth was on time and efficient in identifying the issue with our furnace. Options are being identified and we will make a decision on what to do.
Always great service, great price and knowledgeable service techs. Highly recommend for complete HVAC or small repair.
Seth was great, and answered all my questions. We'll definitely use Westin Air again!
We have great experience with Westin Air and more specific with our Technician Seth Peters who is an extremely professional and wise technician.
Seth was on time, performed the service in a timely manner. Everything was cleaned up and working as required.
Called the office at 9:30 AM regarding my AC not working properly. By noon Seth was there repairing it. Took him 5 minutes to determine the issue and another :30 to repair it. Thanks all - Erik
Thermostat indicating a loss of power Found Condensate safety tripped Everything is dry, no signs of water Safety control will not reset Bypassed the switch to get the system operational. Thermostat is in a low power mode currently due to the battery being low. As a result, the wifi function is temporarily self-disabled until the battery charges off the furnace power supply Approved proposal for a new float switch and wet switch. We will try to return soon to install them and perform the cooling maintenance at the same time.
Performed cooling maintenance on a Daikin Fit variable speed AC system Changed aprilaire 210 air filter Drain is clear and flowing properly Humidifier is shut down for summer Checked history on the thermostat: no operational faults listed. Cleared history Checked status: refrigerant numbers are correct for current operational conditions Outdoor coil was pretty dirty with pollen Washed outdoor coil and the shell of the unit System is operating properly at this time
2023 Daikin Fit system running in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter in decent condition. Check again in 1-2 months. Visual inspection of indoor coil. Humidifier damper is closed. Run test unit in cooling charge mode from thermostat. All system parameters checked using Daikin D-Checker. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are within spec. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. Water flushed outdoor coils to remove dirt and debris. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer.
Install warranty, equipment failure warranty Bryant A pinched compressor wire (s (capacitor)) wore through on the bare metal and shorted to ground causing a rubber meltdown of the compressor plug and a burnout of the compressor. One of three terminals is shorted to ground internally in the compressor The refrigerant compressor, compressor pigtail plug, 1 of 2 40amp HACR fuses, and all refrigerant needs replaced. Office staff will process warranty claims and schedule with homeowners
Performed cooling maintenance on a Carrier AC system Noticed furnace blower motor humming more than it should during operation Blower motor capacitor rated 10mfd, actual measurement was 7.5 Replaced capacitor with a 'turbo 200 Mini', setup for 10mfd, actual measurement on new one is 10.5 Filter is new Blower is clean Drain is clear Connected air diagnostic probes to the return and supply ductwork Connected refrigeration diagnostic probes to the outdoor unit Air and refrigerant readings are good Capacitor tested 51mfd while the Compressor was running Pulled the top off the unit and washed the condenser coil from the inside-out. Reassembled, restored power to the unit. System is operating within manufacturer's specifications at this time
2017 ICP AC running in good. Aprilaire 210 air filter in decent condition. Visual inspection of indoor coil. Flush drain pan and drain lines. Humidifier damper is closed and humidistat is off. Test run AC in cooling mode from thermostat. Delta t of 21F with supply temp of 47F. Refrigerant pressures are within spec. High 275psi with 11F SC, low 110psi with 11F SH. Outdoor coils are in clean condition. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer.
Upon arrival and initial inspection the running refrigerant pressures are reflecting a nearly empty system at 47 PSI suction. Based on information provided by Atlas Butler a on the spot refrigerant leak search was performed with electronic detection and microleak gel detectors however nothing could be confirmed in the area described by them at the evaporator coil. 6 year old icp/adp has a refrigerant leak that requires alternative methods of leak detection. Homeowners have decided to recharge the equipment and begin the multi-step process of ultraviolet dye detection. Refrigerant has been recharged to full capacity and UltraViolet dye with leak stop has been added to the system. Recommended initial ultraviolet inspection in 30 to 60 days to establish a baseline for a rate of leakage. running refrigerant pressures will be tested at the same time 69 Oz new r410a refrigerant required for today's recharge to achieve 10 subcooling at factory specs at 131 and 258 PSI running Single dose
Preventative maintenence inspection performed on 2014 Carrier furnace and 2015 Carrier AC systems. All measurable parameters have measure within specifications and properly operating. No issues found while performing inspection. Current 20x25x4 air filter is in good condition. Furnace operates properly in heating, and AC operates properly in cooling. All systems are operating properly, efficiently and ready for use. Detailed specifics for each unit can be found on individual inspection report paper.
Cooling maintenance for three trane systems Filters are good Blowers clean Verified drains are clear Checked dehumidifier North system was producing 10⁰ delta T. Adjusted blower speed. Now getting 16⁰ delta T Also added small amount of refrigerant to that system to balance charge to manufacturer spec Washed outdoor coils with water Advised keeping laundry room vent closed to push more air to the basement bedroom. Concerned that bedroom is hot in the summer. All three systems are operating within manufacturer's specifications at this time
Performed cooling maintenance on three Daikin systems Washed filters on mini split units Used self-rinsing evaporator coil cleaner on mini split indoor coils and Daikin Fit indoor coil Verified drains are flowing properly Filter for upstairs air handler was clean Blower is clean No stored fault codes Washed outdoor coils with water
2018 Trane AC running in great condition. 20x25x1 electronic air cleaner is working and in clean condition. Visual inspection of indoor coil. Flush drain pan and drain lines. Humidifier damper is closed. Run test unit in cooling mode from Ecobee thermostat. Delta t of 19F with supply temp of 51F. Refrigerant pressure are within spec. High 315psi with 9F SC, low 115psi with 14F SH. Outdoor coils are in clean condition. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer. Recommended running fan in on position, closing registers in basement, and partially closing some registers on first floor to help lower temperature differences between first and second floor. Deciding on which registers on the first floor need shut will be a trial and error thing to do. Recommend trying different setups and continue with whichever works best for preference.
Low voltage fuse is blown on arrival. Found AC contactor to me melted in several spots on high voltage bus bar and low voltage coil. Replaced contactor covered under parts warranty but no labor warranty. Test ran in cooling mode to verify operation. No other issues suspected at this time.
2019 Trane AC unit running in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter in good condition. New filter included with maintenance left with Homeowners. Visual inspection of indoor coil. Condensation drain pan is clear. Humidifier shut down by homeowner. Run test unit in cooling mode from thermostat. Delta t of 19F with supply temp of 53F. Refrigerant pressures are within spec. High 300psi with 12F SC, low 120psi with 20F SH. Outdoor coils are in clean condition. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. Run capacitor is within spec. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer.
