Seth and Gary arrived on time, were neat and thorough in cleaning the entire furnace assembly, including A/C coil, blower etc. Furnace was very dirty. Now sounds better and should run more efficiently. Very happy with their level of knowledge and understanding of what it took to improve furnace efficiency.

Upon arrival thermostat was satisfied and furnace had no errors. Unit fan is on constant on mode. Filter is merv13 and ductwork is decently undersized from first glance. Advised homeowner to use merv 7/8 filters and no higher to prevent heavy restriction. Gas pressure 3.34 1.62 temp rise at 50 with new filter. Flushed drain trap cleaned burners and flame sensor.
Install aprilaire steam humidifier and remove old bypass humidifier. New steam unit needs 120v ran to it and the hot water supply switched to cold water supply. Shutoff for 1/4” water line is corroding badly and should be replaced while things are apart. After plumber and electrician have finished their work humidifier should be ready to fire off. Call if problems arise but the humidifier is ready to run at this time
Checked humidity in the home. Sitting at 35% humidity. Aprilaire 600 was not installed during construction. He may want an E100 or E130 dehumidifier. He will let us know.
100kbtu 96% two stage C width furnace with 4 ton AC
Upon arrival inspected furnace and found pressure switch errors. Upon further inspection attempted to resolve with universal pressure switch but problem was still present. Unit kicks into 2nd stage and instantly back down to 1st stage. Will not hold 2nd stage. Control board is sending weird signals and codes directing me towards the control board is going faulty.

Upon arrival inspected furnace and found unit with rusty burners but unit was heating but would not stay running. After inspection only concerns found were dirty burners and slightly pinched passageways. Perform major TLC on burners cleaning each one and re-gapping each passageway. No more concerns at this time unit is coming on okay
Remove and replace gas burners with stainless steel set, Due to excessive rust over normal run time periods with basement fresh air and take. Test run furnace after replacing burners, no concerns during operation
Yellow insert on waterline post solenoid for metering water flow was installed on both sides of Grey plastic waterline. On output used on black frame, the insert was working as a hose nozzle and spraying water everywhere. Removed yellow insert and tested humidifier. Replaced section of thermopan damaged by water leak. Upon arrival, system was attempting to fire off. Inducer would come on, ignitor would come on, gas valve would open and gas would properly ignite, but then be shutoff within 3 seconds. Burner cleaning was not performed during maintenance visit when it should have been done. Burners were very rusty and not allowing the flame sensing current to ground itself to the burners. Pictures of a burner uploaded to file. Service recall for preventative maintenence inspection performed on 11-27. After cleaning off burners and flame sensor, test ran system in heating. System fired off as it should with no other issues suspected.
Two geothermal diagnostics Swimming pool twin system Bard air to water hydronic heating system locked out on high pressure. Paul said the water circulating pump for the swimming pool was replaced last week. Most likely the system locked out and was not shut off during the swimming pool repairs Tetco geothermal central system kitchen thermostat. Equipment was in complete lockout with compressor one suction pressure safety switch locked out. Compressor circuit one has zero PSI refrigerant r22. Nitrogen pressure testing discovered a burned-out compressor with blown seals on the electrical connections. R22 compressor is an electrical burnout Recharge 24 oz r422b into Central kitchen system circuit b compressor. This system is now running at 60% capacity until circuit 1 compressor is replaced. Performed heating maintenance on Daikin furnace. Replaced aprilaire 210 filter
Transformer powering humidifier circuit has gone bad and is only supplying 16V. Rerouted humidifier wires to furnace transformer. Since humidifier was using two wires, one for power and one for return control, changed so that there is only one wire used for it at the thermostat. Used other wire to be able to control second stage heating. Reprogrammed thermostat for 2 stage heat. Tested humidifier and 2nd stage heating operation. Humidifier pad shows little usage. Assume the transformer failed mid last season. Humidifier is back on and properly operating along with heating.
