Upon arrival inspected system and found in limit fault. Inspected filter and filter was clean dated 12/3/25 humidifier bypass open unit producing 78° rise. Unsure of cause of shift in temperature rise. Adjust gas pressure down to 3.2 and adjust blower speeds to allow 10% more airflow during heat. check temp rise now doing 65°. Unit only went into limit fault from extending runtime with extended demand from lots of in and out traffic. Gas pressure being 3.6 temp rise being high with clean filter remove diag fee
Upon arrival inspected system and found unit in lockout E2. Inspected pressure on refrigerant system and unit at 197 psi on high side, sensor reading OL will not close. Jumped wires until we can return with a new pressure switch. Unit will still have over amperage protection until then.
Found no concerns with geo unit has no errors currently. Thermostat set to run furnace after 20° and below Ron requested it be at 30° below fp1 downstairs set to 15° pump reservoir full and pumping unit is working with no concerns at this time.

Florida heat pump brand geothermal heat pump 3psi refrigerant pressure Pumped up system with nitrogen Leak is in a section of the air coil that cannot be repaired Left nitrogen in the system and disconnected compressor wire harnesses to prevent it from running We will try to locate parts for a repair We will also quote a new geothermal system
Geothermal had 155 occurrences of FP1 fault Last lockout was FP1 With aurora aid tool, monitored fp1 During start up, it went down to -11 and came back up in a short enough period of time to not trigger the fault Checked wiring of fp1, no issues found Used temperature clamp on TXV outlet to compare to fp1 numbers, fp1 was fluctuating a lot while the actual temperature of the line remained steady. Also found high pressure switch Bypassed Verified it is stuck open We will send a quote to replace fp1 sensor and install a service port tee with a high pressure switch
Remove 4” vent pipe and replace with new pipe due to rust and rot causing vent to separate and leak exhaust gases into basement. Temporarily taped for safety reasons

Preventative maintenence inspection on Waterfurnace 5 Series geothermal unit. Air filter is in decent condition. Check again in 1-2 months. Visual inspection of air coil. Check fault history with Aurora aid tool. No error fault codes in the system. Reset normal operation codes. Test run operation of electric heat strips. All strips are operating properly. Test ran in geothermal heating aswell. Bo issues found or suspected with electric strip heat, and geothermal heating. Humidifier pad is in good condition. All systems are operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
