Goodman single stage furnace locked out ignition attempts Reset power Gas valve not opening Verified 24V present at gas valve Put wires back and gas valve began operating normally Jostling the electronics on the gas valve causes interruption in operation Recommend replacing the gas valve to prevent further malfunction Furnace is currently operating Discussed maintenance plans, discounts and repairs Currently in contract with another company who would not respond to emergency service After canceling existing contract, will sign up for gold plan and replace gas valve. Ideally, on the return visit, perform heating maintenance and replace the gas valve at the same time.
Looked at 3 Reznor unit heaters One has two small cracks in the heat exchanger, but it is operational Discussed carbon monoxide risks Other unit needs a new spark module and fan control thermostatic switch. Third unit had a bad thermocouple. Replaced thermocouple Unit is operating normally at this time.
2010 Bryant single stage 93% efficient natural gas furnace. Tripped out on a 31 fault, pressure switch stuck open Found secondary heat exchanger full of water Removed condensate trap Washed trap out thoroughly in the sink 20x25x1 Filter is brand new Flame sensor appears to have been cleaned very recently (yesterday?) Set gas pressure to 3.2"wc with reference to the burner box Ran combustion test (readings are attached to this invoice) Furnace is operating within factory specifications at this time. Signed up for silver maintenance plan Approved drain line modifications for AC condensate drain: removed p-trap (point of clogging for AC condensate), replaced cut section of pipe and installed a vent Tee fitting.
Furnace is tripping the blocked vent limit safety. Chimney is blocked by something Need a chimney person to figure out and fix the venting issue
Call back from yesterday. Adjustments yesterday had brought the temperature rise within the range of 40-70 at 65F during the test run. Adjusted blower speed to speed 14 to bring temperature rise to 52F. Test ran for approximately 20 minutes and temperature rise did not move higher or lower than 52F. System is operating properly.

Replacement warranty. Upon arrival, furnace was locked out in code 13.1 for excessive limit trips. Reset furnace and test ran. Gas pressure was at 3.8inwc and on speed 8 fan which put the temperature rise above specs. Set gas pressure to 3.2inwc and set fan speed to 9. Test ran operation for approximately 20 minutes to verify operation.

Upon arrival inspected furnace cabinet where water seemed to be sourced. Found small puddle inside cabinet. Upon further inspection was not able to find any additional wet spots or leaks. Unit seemed to be freezing and dripping overnight as homeowner stated unit wouldn’t cool at night. Check pressures and had 220 head and 70 suction with ice forming. Line was 33°. Filter is clean. Fan is operational and set to speed 14 for approx 1300 cfm. Static reading 0.45 blower 0.15 coil.
Preventative maintenence inspection on 2016 Waterfurnace 7 Series geothermal unit. Blower and compressor compartments in clean condition. 30x32x2 air filter in good condition. Test ran in electric strip heat with 29F temperature rise. All heat strips come on properly at 20A. Test run geothermal heating with 23F temperature rise. Refrigerant pressures are within spec for heating mode. Variable speed flow center and loop pressures are within spec. Electric strip heat and geothermal heating tested together with temperature rise of 49F. All measurements made withing specifications. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
