2012 Waterfurnace Legend Upon arrival, system was in the off mode. Inspection of unit showed that there were stored High Pressure and Low Pressure codes. Initial test run of the unit showed that blower motor was not coming in with a callcfor first stage cooling. Using ecm motor tester, found that speed 1 on blower motor no longer operates but speeds 2-5 do. Switch first stage heating/cooling blower speed to speed 2 and test ran cooling operation. Blower motor and flow center come on as they should, along with the compressor. Tested ground loop pressure and found to be at 15psi incoming, and 10psi outgoing. Pressures should be closer to 40-70psi for proper and most efficient operating parameters. Air temperature drop is at 17F. This is within the 17-22F specifications, although, the original fan motor speed should put it closer to the middle of the range, allowing for better dehumidification in the summer time. It is recommended to pressurize the ground loop to more appropriate pressure
Upon arrival system was off. Inspection of unit shows that 20x25x4 air filter is very dirty. Replaced with new 20x25x4 air filter. Ground loop pressure is at 0psi when it should be between 40-70psi. Current loop pressure testing ports are hard to work with and risk damage to tools during testing. Pressurized up to 40psi from house water supply. House water supply was only at 40psi so it could not get any higher than the 40psi. Performed a test run in cooling stage 2 to check for any other issues and to let the ground loop solution properly mix to get a proper freeze protection reading. With proper ground loop pressure and clean air fliter, the cooling was operating within air temperature drop, ground loop psi drop, and ground loop temperature increase. Did not check refrigerant as there are no issues suspected. During test run, found a leak in one of the fused fittings on the ground loop system. This will need to be repaired to prevent loss of pressure and antifreeze in the system. Aft
Upon arrival test each head simultaneously on full heat. Each head pumping out significant amount of heat. Filters all clean. Outdoor unit clean. No hot/loose wiring. System operating properly at this time
Gas heating preventative maintenance performed Check filter - 20x25x4 Clean flame sensor Ohm test igniter: 56.9 Inspect wiring for loose connections and/or hot spots - none found Inspect exhaust flu - no concerns Set thermostat for heat Check amp draw on blower motor: 3.2 Check amp draw on inducer motor:0.9 Check delta T - 49° Furnace is in optimal running conditions
2009 Florida Heat Pump is working in good condition. 20x25x4 air filter in good condition and on schedule with homeowners. Blower and compressor compartments are clean and free of loose connections. Test ran electric strip heating. All heat strips are operating properly. Test ran system in geothermal heat. Geothermal heating is operating properly. Due to no issues currently suspected, refrigerant pressures were not tested. Non invasive measurements of refrigerant temperatures compared to air temperature rise was t3sted and measured within specs. No issues found while performing inspection. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
Verified humidifier install is possible. See job note and pictures.
Upon arrival inspected air conditioner and found unit not cycling outside. Inspected electrical and found melted wires for capacitor. Replaced 70mfd capacitor and 7.5 capacitor with turbo 200x and test run system. System needed washed advised homeowner. Unit cooling at 9° subcool and 20° delta T
2021 Bryant running in great condition. 20x25x1 air filter in good condition. Air filter is in backwards, but due to already being slightly used, put filter back in the same way. Arrow on air filter must point to the right. Clean flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Run test unit in heating mode. Delta t of 54F with supply temp of 123F. 2" pvc flue in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing in basement. Blower motor and inducer motor running within spec. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
Preventative maintenence inspection on three Lennox high efficiency furnaces. Replaced both 16x25x1 air filters. 20x25x4 air filter in good condition. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation traps and drain lines. Clean flame sensors and checked ignitors. Pvc flue vents in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. Humidifier pads in good condition. Test ran all furnaces in heating mode. All are operating properly and within temperature rise specifications, and blower and inducer motor specifications. Systems are operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.

1997 York furnace above ceiling Furnace is functional but not in good shape 20x25x1 Filter is inside the furnace We changed the filter with one we provided Air conditioner evaporator coil is actively leaking water into the safety drain pan underneath the system above the ceiling AC Outdoor coil is every damaged from what appears to be dog urine and weed wackers. AC is functional but not running at peak efficiency due to damaged condenser coil Location of furnace makes servicing and replacement extremely difficult No safety concerns with the system, but the chances of it leaking water down into the ceiling are high. We will send a rough proposal to move the furnace to the utility closet and upgrade to a 96% efficient furnace with a new AC system. We can also relocate the outdoor unit so it is no longer on the fencing company's property.
Upon inspection, system is off with no callcfrom thermostat. 8nspection of unit shows no obvious visual damage or problems. Attempted test run through Aurora Aid Tool. System cam on in cooling but refrigerant head pressure climbed quickly and shut down on high pressure switch. Further inspection found that the flow center pump is not getting 230V power. Traced power loss to both resetable 3A fuses in side of electrical compartment housing. Current using two 3A disposable fuses for test running. 3A fuses could replaced with factory resettable fuse. While test running, refrigerant pressures are tested within spec. Ground loop is low on pressure at approximately 20psi when it should be between 40-70psi. Pressure loss can be normal as ground loop pipes expand and conteact over the years. This will not hurt the system unless there is a complete blowout, but it does hinder the efficiency of the unit. Repressurize ground loop from 20psi to 60psi from house water supply. is operating properl
Flow chart and tech support diagnostics on inverter driver and inverter compressor. Minimum 2 hours pre-authorized electrical diagnostics required 100% confirmation of electrically open circuits on the variable speed drive board. Tech support confirms good windings on the Mitsubishi compressor but open circuits between P2-U, P2-V, P2-W Seth and Brandon will consult with JP regarding the proper route for repairs. The retrofit replacement upgrade kit requires installing a refrigerant cooling circuit for the new design and parts are under warranty however aftermarket parts may be available for a simple control board replacement Sistem is powered down until further repairs are completed
Climate master two system house. System A servicing basement and third floor with communicating zones is displaying service code 60 indicating general compressor malfunction. With submenu fault code 62 indicating high current draw at stardust on inverter compressor. System a will not run at all and enters an immediate lockout after a power cycle off and on. System A will require an additional 2 to 3 hours of electrical diagnostics to follow the proper procedures with tech support for inverter compressor diagnostics and inverter driver diagnostics System B servicing the middle level primary floor of the house is actively locked out on service code 6 indicating condensate overflow hard lockout. Confirmed 100% complete full blockage of the PVC drain pipe p-trap. Cleared blockage, flushed the drain, run test equipment in cooling mode from the first floor thermostat. System A will require 2 hours pre-approval during the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. eastern time for tech support
