Struggled a little with overall rating since some aspects of installation of Carrier heat pump and fan coil didn't go as well as expected. The heat pump was installed too close to the house and while installing new cold air return, some damage to dry wall was done; however, now for the good news, everyone I talked with was friendly and professional in helping resolve my issues. They reinstalled the heat pump to meet the manufacturers specifications and are taking care of the dry wall (without any hesitation on their part). The new cold air return was as a result of not enough air flow which was unknown at quote time and added at no extra charge. So, even though things could have gone better initially, all of my concerns have been resolved to my satisfaction and I find that to be almost just as valuable as everything being done right the first time (which I haven't found a home improvement contractor to be capable of that yet).

I arrived to a diagnostic service call. Copper condensate drain was clogged which was causing the drain pan to overfill and leak down the side of the furnace. Removed section of copper drain pipe. Clear clog using CO2 gun and re-secured copper drain pipe. Recommended replacing copper with PVC for ease of access in case of future problems.
After removing the York air conditioner, I installed a Five Star 16 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.
I completed the scheduled maintenance agreement cooling tune up on a Carrier air conditioner. I visually inspected the unit. Checked voltages, amps and pressures. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored system. All operating normally at this time.
I gave an estimate to install a Five Star Electric Furnace. Included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.
Customer advised indoor fan has been running non stop. Checked blower motor at the furnace system was not running the fan that the customer heard was not part of the HVAC system it was actually the bathroom vent fan turned it off for customer no charge
I Performed a Tune Up & Safety Check on a Carrier "Infinity Series" 18 SEER Variable-Speed 3 Ton Heat Pump unit. The system is ready for the season.
Customer received a brand new Carrier Electric Furnace and Air Conditioner to replace their old system to keep the home warm in the winter months and cool in the summer months. Pictured is the brand new furnace that our talented technician installed for the customer.
