This home in Marshalltown called for a sweep & inspection of the fireplace & chimney. After inspecting the exterior we notified the homeowner that there should be a cap install to stop birds from entering the chimney flue pipe and additional screen placed around the prefabricated cap to stop birds from nesting in the open area around the flue pipe.
