First of all, I appreciated the tight repair window and call with a 20 minute "on the way" call. Other companies have expected us to hang out all day for repair. Our technician, Chris, was right on time, masked for COVID, friendly, and completed quality work. I am glad I tried this out instead of our appliance manufacturer's service department. Diagnostic trip fee went towards any labor and parts to repair, making this just slightly over the trip fee that GE wanted to charge. I am sure the cost with them would have been double. We will use this company for all our appliance repair needs.

Have used appliance works before I called them without any hesitation on this repair to my refrigerator/ ice dispenser. Chris quickly was able to come up with a diagnosis, told me the price and installed the part without any problem.I will continue to use this firm and I recommend them highly to all folks who have an appliance repair need.

On time, able to diagnose quickly. Ended up having him quote us on something else while he was here installing the dryer fix. I think their service call pricing is extremely fair/competitive. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars on the convenience question was they call you saying they're on their way but need to verify you're home and you only get 10 minutes to respond otherwise they'll reschedule. As someone with young children, and I work from home and I'm on conference calls, I can't always get to the phone when they call. I think it would be better if AW called the day before to confirm (so you know the customer didn't forget) the time slot. And maybe even call when they're going to "soon" be on their way but the 10 minute thing is a little ridiculous. I certainly understand they don't want to drive all the way to the house and find out someone isn't there as planned but I think that can be achieved with an earlier reminder call.
