It is truly said that the test of a company is how it handles mistakes. Our 12-year old built-in oven stopped broiling on the upper level. Dependable came, replced element - which we paid for - . seemed to work ]but dd not. Dependable came, diagnosed faulty safety cut out, ordered it, we paid for it. By now it was becoming clear that the fundamental problem was that they were doing heir best on an old unit. But they kept going. Out came the head technician. He diagnosed a blown relay. Ordered a new relay board. These things are not made anymore. Some company rebuilds them, and that costs. New board came and Dependable "ate" the cost of the previous (understandable) wrong diagnoses. Net-net. We had four visits at a cost of maybe $250 that avoided us having to buy a new $3,000 installed unit. They persevered. They took the pain of a difficult situation. I was very pleased.
