CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not running . CAUSE: Inspected dryer wall receptacle for proper voltage to the dryer, voltage to the dryer is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected dryer terminal block and cord for visible shorts, no shorts found at terminal block or cord at the time of inspection. Inspected dryer heater continuity on the heater element, heating element tested good at the time of inspection, Tested thermal safety for continuity, no continuity present, Found dryer thermal safety shorted out. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer thermal safety and tested. Operation now normal.

CONCERN: Dryer takes too long to dry clothes, dryer does get hot though. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested dryer for proper heater element operation. Heater operation is normal. Inspected heater thermostat operation for short cycling condition, thermostat is short cycling. Inspected dryer air flow at the duct flume, air flow is normal at this time, no signs of flow restriction. Cause, Wall vent clogged with lint. CORRECTION: Performed dryer vent cleaning, tested for restrictions, operation now normal

CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator lights don't work, no display but unit still cools. CAUSE: Found unit to be in sabbath mode that cools but shuts all lights off including display. CORRECTION: reset by pressing lock and lights at the same time for 3-5 seconds, tested. Operation now normal. CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is making a loud noise. CAUSE: Found dryer idler pulley and rear rollers failing. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer idler pulley and tested, operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports ice maker is not making ice. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply lines for leaks, no leaks from supply lines at the time of inspection. Inspected freezer for proper temperature output, temperature output in freezer normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage to the ice maker, voltage to ice maker is normal at the time of inspection.Found voltage to the Ice maker normal however ice maker will not call for water from the refrigerator water valve. Found the ice maker failed. CORRECTION: Replaced ice maker and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

CONCERN: Customer reports washer making a loud noise. CAUSE: Found washer rear tub bearings failed. CORRECTION: Replace both rear tub bearings and seal. Operation is now normal. CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is leaking water. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply line for leaks, no leaks at the refrigerator water supply line. Inspected internal water refrigerator water lines for leaks, internal refrigerator water line are normal at the time of inspection. Inspected refrigerator defrost drain line for water leaks, found the source of the leak coming from the refrigerator defrost drain. Removed freezer panel to inspect for clogged drain line. Found the defrost drain restricted with ice and debris. CORRECTION: Cleared the refrigerator defrost drain of ice and debris, operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports microwave is not working properly. CAUSE: Tested Microwave door switches for continuity, found microwave interlock door switches have electrical short and failed. CORRECTION: Replace microwave interlock door switches and tested. Operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not working properly. CAUSE: Found refrigerator defrost timer failed. Customer also needed very invasive defrost service. Water method used. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator defrost timer and tested. Operation now normal. CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator section is not getting cold but freezer is still working properly. CAUSE: Found back panel and evaporator coils covered in frost. Tested the refrigerator defrost bi-metal thermostat for continuity, refrigerator defrost bi-metal continuity failed test. Refrigerator defrost bi-metal has electrical short. CORRECTION: Defrosted refrigerator evaporator coils and replaced defrost bi-metal thermostat. Operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not heating. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected dryer for proper voltage from the wall to the cord terminal block, voltage normal. Inspected voltage from terminal block to dryer control assembly, voltage normal. Inspected continuity on all thermal safety thermostats, all thermal safeties are normal. Inspected continuity at heater element, found dryer heating element failed. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer heating element and tested. Operation now normal.
