After jail, an attorney bond, a trial setting, a bond forfeiture, a warrant, a cash bond and another trial setting, we finally got a great deal for our client. He was facing losing his job as a driver as a conviction for the offense would have caused his Commercial Driver's License to be suspended. The prosecutor wasn't offering deferred. In the end we were able to get a deferred which will allow him to keep his license and keep his job. That's what happens when we have the benefit of a reasonable and experienced prosecutor. They seek justice. It's not necessary to destroy a person to get justice. Everybody will be better off after the deal we made.
