Had an Assault Family Violence case in Lancaster that I couldn't cover because of an out of county conflict. So I had a top notch attorney from the old school go out there. Witness showed up and client didn't want to take a plea so the former prosecutor under District Attorney Henry Wade dusted off his trial skills and gave them a trial. Not guilty. Smiles all around (at least on our side). Honestly, it felt like sending John Wayne.
