We went up in the garage and looked at the location as well which is where i took a look at the new charger, and where we discussed hardwired vs plug inside which he decided to go the plug in route. I explained what would be involved with that from the run, drywall holes, heavy duty ev plug, the gfci breaker needed at the panel as well as the whole home protection that would also help protect the circuit. I then went and wrote up multiple options but the price was a bit higher then he expected right now, as well as the resident has a more urgent problem to fix as well with condensation causing leaks around ductwork.
