Called to Donny’s home for an electrical inspection. Donny just just acquired said home from his deceased parents in law. After inspection, I recommended a few options to update and upgrade his existing service. While the current setup is functioning, it is not code compliant. Donny needs arc and ground fault protection that currently does not exist. He needs a hard wired smoke and carbon monoxide detector system, resecured straps for service mast, 4 wire from main breaker to sub panel. Current fuse sub panel needs either done away with or replaced with a ch breaker panel. Thank you for choosing Mister Sparky.
