Today I was called to troubleshoot the dishwasher breaker tripping. I put the dishwasher circuit onto another breaker to either prove the breaker was bad or to verify a fault. The circuit tripped again. I recommend calling an appliance repair tech or replacing the dishwasher. We also talked about flickering lights which could be caused by a number of things. Possible remedies include changing the outlets and switches to eliminate back stabbed wiring, a surge protector at the panel, or a panel tune up to identify and fix any loose connections.
