My technician Dani was courteous and professional. TE Certified made scheduling and payment for the job very easy, was able to get Dani out earlier than scheduled, and has been communicative during the entire process. I'm very satisfied with the work Dani did for us and will ask for Dani specifically to complete some additional plumbing work. Will be happy to recommend TE Certified to our friends and neighbors.

This is my second time using TE Certified for plumbing and I will continue to turn to them again if the need ever arises. Isaac was the gentleman who helped us this last time and I was very appreciative of him taking the time to explain what he found, what he needed to do and the speed and efficiency with which he completed his work.

Customer called us out for a kitchen sink that was backing up. I inspected the garbage disposal and found lots of glass in it. I recommended doing a disposal reset and cleaning the ptrap to clear the glass that made it through. Customer agreed. I vacuumed out the glass and cleared what was stuck in the teeth and drains of the disposal by hand until it would run again. I then removed the ptrap and cleaned it out. I reinstalled it and tested the disposal and trap throughly for any leaks. Customer said he might want to replace the disposal soon so I left two estimates for him.
1 of 2 Rheem Tankless water heater was flashing code P1. Homeowner moved in about a month ago and did not know of its service records. Went to flush both heaters but the one throwing the P1 code didn’t not have service valves installed on it. Flushed the heater we could and cleaned the filters in both heaters. Brought the issue of no service valves to the customer and the improper piping of the heaters and the customer decided that they would like the heaters repiped properly. Installed service valves and repiped the water lines in proper sequence. Flushed the water heater we could not flush earlier. Checked Kohler shower cartridge. It needs to be replaced in master bathroom
No heat basement. Found system turned off. Upon arriving turned on. System appeared to operate but is very loud. Upon inspection found cracked heat exchanger, high amp draw on inducer motor, weak run capacitor, dirty blower wheel, high limit was tripping.. found system to be leaking carbon monoxide into basement. Upon trying to price repairs was notified parts no longer available for system as it is 25 years old and not in production anymore. Furnace needs to be replaced. Informed customer. Customer wants quote to replace furnace. Informed customer of crack in heat exchanger and that it was leaking carbon monoxide. Advised due to safety concerns not to operate the heat. Left thermostat in off position.
We installed water clamps and ground wire to bond hot and cold water lines at the water heater as per inspection report. As a courtesy we also installed a bonding jumper at the prv. This was not on the inspection report, but is necessary for a complete grounding system. We installed a junction box in the walk in attic by the furnace to correct the flying splice. We secured the box, stapled the wires, spliced wires inside junction box, and installed a cover plate for the junction box.
We install two three ways switches in the stairs.
Troubleshoot lose of power in sewing room. Multiple outlets were melted and damged. Wires were damaged. Replace switches and outlets throughout the room. Replace GFi in master bathroom next to tub. Everything tested and working properly.
Did an evaluation on the panel. Checked the switch for proper voltage and found that the switch was not working properly. Bypass the switch to check if lights worked, found that they did. Replace switch to a toggled single pole.
Replace the leaking water service to the house with a new black poly waterline. Roughly 130 feet, trench the entire line via dig team, run through the penetration with soft copper and replace the PRV and Main shutoff. Replace meter nipple and dual check at the meter. Verified there were no leaks and purged any debris out of the line. Backfilled and put back pinestraw in front of the house. Installed a new hose bib shutoff as a courtesy
Existing ejector pump non-functional. Cut the drywall to access the pit, and pump. Remove the lid, ball & check valve, and the pump, as well as clean the surrounding area. Install new ejector pump, ball & check valve, and lid connecting back to the existing discharge. Fill basin and run the pump multiple times to test.
Replaced kitchen sink faucet. Tested without leaks no leaks for failures at time of service.
Replace the overloaded and dangerous challenger panel with a 54space Square d panel with a lifetime manufacturers warranty as well as a lifetime workmanship warranty. Included in this project we will install dual function breakers, hardwired smoke detectors where currently not in code, and whole home surge protection per city of Milton requirements.
Came to customers home to inspect the main waterline for iron piping. Dug by the meter and found that the customer had a PVC main waterline. Customer inquired about a filter for his home and we informed him we do provide and install whole home filters. He was happy to hear and was eager to have one installed. We cut out and replaced the PRV with a new PRV. Installed a new Halo 5 unit in the basement of the customers home. Went through the regen/flush cycles in the new filter. Flushed out all fixtures in the home.
