My technician Dani was courteous and professional. For this job, I worked on wiring a heated floor system installed by previous electrician.
Replace 50 gallon gas water heater. Installed new thermal expansion tank, water heater pan, moisture alarm, gas shut off valve, installed code required double wall exhaust piping, and insulated water lines. No leaks, water is getting hot. 60 PSI.
Tech drives to problem call for basement system. Basement system is 13 years old. Previous technician was on site and found thermostat to be failed to which tech replaced thermostat with customer supplied google nest. On arrival thermostat was off the wall. Let customer know that to diagnose thermostat would have to go back on wall. Put google nest on wall and watched system. Thermostat would come on and off multiple times and not receive full power. Found system had an intermittent short on G wire that prevented system from powering on completely. Checked wires and used a different wire from green (orange). Customer agreed to thermostat replacement. Replaced thermostat with EcoBee thermostat and verified operations. Registered thermostat and registered smart sensor. Showed customer how to use thermostat in person and on app. Verified system was operational in heating/cooling and aux heat. 5 year warranty on thermostat and 1 year warranty in labor. Rheem Proterra Hybrid water heater was displaying error code A108 for a blockage in the condensate line. Disassembled condensate outlet. Inspected inside of the unit in the condensate tray and found some sludge built up. I cleared the debris out of the unit and reassembled the drain line. I added a tee with a short stand pipe to the drain. Tested thermistors for faults. All readings were within manufacturer specifications. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Upon arrival customer stated that they were having a lot of dust issues upstairs system and wanted to have system inspected and wanted to have the downstairs system inspected as well. Did full evaluation of system, unit is 24 years old both gas furnace and ac/coil, and did find several issues In regards to customer concerns for dust. Blower wheel is very dirty, 12x20x1 system filter is u derailed for system and gets dirty fast, there is a conjunction box that return ducts feed into and the duct board inside is very dirty, duct system is very old and dirty as well, inside system insulation has a lot of dirt and dust build up. When system is running the dirt and debris is floating in air stream and system. The evaporator coils is rusted, the drain pan does not have any flood protection and does not fit the entire base of system, advised customer that rust from coils will clog drain line and there would be ceiling damage due to not having a long enough drain pan or flood protection device
Installed splice box in attic and ran new feed from splice box to light fixture in foyer.

Cleaned dirty blower wheel and installed new system filter. Covered medial filter under warranty customer had ducts cleaned yesterday and filter that was installed was very clogged and dirty. Tested system in heat and ac mode and everything back up and working properly at this time.
Homeowner had been experiencing issues with the water heater. Prior to arrival the heater stopped producing hot water. After inspection and quick diagnostic gave estimate with different options. Homeowner decided to rebuild at this point. I replaced the upper/ lower elements and thermostats. Allowed for unit to heat and then tested.
Replaced 15 year old water heater with new 50 gallon natural gas Rheem with all new copper piping, fittings and shutoff valve. As well as expansion tank and strap, gas tie in, shutoff and water heater pan. Reworked water piping above heater as well. Also replaced PRV and main shutoff and set to 65 psi.
