Replace the garbage disposal with a customer supplied badger insinkerator 500 Replace all kitchen sink stop valves and the hose bibb shutoff, checked for leaks and verified all were functional. Put the insulator over the hose Bibb and drained the line. Verified the recirc pump was functioning. Water pressure is at 90 psi, notified customer and left PRV replacement options. Water heater is from 2009, gave options for replacement. My client is not ready to jump on this quite yet, but will let us know when. She is interested in a tankless water heater, it was getting late and I let her know they take a while to properly quote out, she was fine with addressing it when she’s ready to replace the heater.
Installed customer supplied lavatory and kitchen faucets. Removed old fixtures and set aside per client request and mounted new fixtures and drain assemblies. Sealed all connections and verified no leaks on the faucets or drains. Opened wall in attic space for access to back side of the 3rd floor shower. Removed blocking and installed new customer supplied Kohler Rite Temp shower valve and trim kit. Blocking was reinstalled and hole closed up. Tested for leaks and proper function.
Repair busted water main by the meter with new pipe and fittings. Turned the water back on and checked the work I performed and found no issues however, the meter is still running water which indicates that there is another leak in a different area of the mainline that goes to the house. I offered to have our leak detection team come and find the leak but Neil declined the offer and wants to wait to see if he notices it later and will call back.

Troubleshoot light contactor making a lot noise
Today we are out here because the bidet Shannon had purchased and installed herself was giving issues with water leaking from the supply line to the toilet. Upon inspection of the toilet found that the rubber washer for the supply line that is built onto the water stop valve was missing and stuck inside of the water fill valve. I advised that the home has cpvc and is known to be fragile as the pipe ages. Today I am replacing the stop valve for the toilet and supply line. Also did a minor rebuild of the toilet by replacing the fill valve and flapper. Tested and checked the work that was performed today and did a walkthrough with the customer.
