I was called out to Joshua’s house for a cooling issue. Joshua has lived here for about 3 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered both systems are from early 2000s making them well past normal life expectancy, there is significant duct board which is dirty and has biological growth, the ac is low on the obsolete R22 refrigerant which is no longer made, and because it is so low there is likely a leak present that would need to be found and fixed.
Replace meter enclosure that is damaged from poor installation. Sawnee EMC will disconnect power and permit will be pulled with Forsyth county.

For this job customer had an outdoor GFCI device get hit by lightning. It damaged the low volt transformer as well as the outlet. I installed a new outlet and bubble cover and left an estimate to replace the landscape lighting system in the front yard. I also installed a whole home surge protector in the main panel in the basement. Surge protector is installed on a new 50 amp breaker. Left estimates to separate neutral wires in main panel as well.
