Performed 1 system diagnostic for whole home. Unit is 12 years old out of warranty and is also zoned. Found dirty blower wheel, rusted out evap coil, clogged drain line, water in pan, dirty condenser, blower motor drawing high amps and no te standard flood protections, also recommend replacing contactor as well as outdoor dual capacitor. Due to age of units and cost of repairs. Recommended replacing system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Upon arrival customer stated that system for upstairs was not working and that they had another company out, they replaced a transformer but still could not get system to work. After inspection of system found that unit had a failed contactor that caused the transformer to fail. Advised customer of issue. Checked over all of system found blower capacitor is bad, blower wheel very dirty, system is very aged for furnace. Outdoor capacitor tested good. Recommended cleaning blower wheel, changing bad blower capacitor, clean blower wheel, add wet pan switch, change bad contactor. Customer only wanted to have contactor, blower capacitor and new transformer installed today. Made all repairs for system and unit is back up and cooling at this time. Washed outdoor condenser coils. Refrigerant levels tested good at this time.

Upon arrival I spoke with the customer of an issue, where half of one of the rooms that had been remodeled at some point was out. After the customer agreed to the diagnostic, I proceeded with troubleshooting and trying to find where the fault in the line is. I tested one of the breakers that was showed trip on the indicator, but was in the on position. I tested in the breaker was fine. After further testing, I found that a different breaker Supplied power to most of this room. After searching, I was able to find a GFCI receptacle located underneath of the counters to the right of the sink. After resetting the GFI I found that all power was returned. I gave the customer an option to replace the GFCI receptacle with a standard receptacle and dual function protect the circuit with arc fault and ground fall. The customer agreed and I started the work. I installed the art fault breaker and after testing, found it to trip immediately. I continued testing by switching it to just a GFCI and it
