We did a troubleshoot and We replace two bad outlets that were not currently working , we also found that there is a bad door buzz bell so we will order a new one and replace it at a different schedule appointment.
Replace a portion of the pipe to get water back on to the home. House is on polybutylene pipe. Will give some options on full replacement and just in the crawlspace. I forgot to mention to the customer that I had found a separated drain line in the crawlspace. This has been separated for a while. I left an option to fix this and will reach out tomorrow earlier in the day to see if they want it taken care of. I saw no other drain related problems in the crawlspace. Polybutylene is a problem material and is prone to leaks. No warranty on the fix. This pipe is not insulated as the customer told me not to worry about it. I recommend they reduce the amount of openings in the crawlspace and insulate this pipe.
Was called out about a leak cut the sheet rock and flounder a shark bite in the ceiling cut the shark bite out and use proper pex to copper adapter Tested for leaks there are no leaks Thanks for choosing te certified
For this job I did a tankless water heater diagnostic. We determined the flow sensor was not working and not telling the water heater to turn on. I ordered new sensor and replaced the new part. The hot water was returned back to home after the replacement of the sensor. I also completed a full tankless water heater flush/maintenance. I ran descaling solution through tankless for 1 hour to clean out the unit. I pulled filters and clean them from any debris and build up. I put tankless back together, tested and left work area clean.
No heat. Customer had system off on arrival. Turned system on and everything worked properly. Checked electrical components, checked refrigerant pressures, checked filter, checked coils, found failing capacitor. Quoted repairs and gave option for Homecare.
I replace a ceiling fan in the master bedroom and also replace a switch in the dinning room area. Left estimate to replace flood light as well
For this Job I worked on replacing an Eaton Ch Panel with a Square D QO Panel and added a generator inlet on the back of the home. Also installed whole home surge protection below the main panel. Customer is installing smart smoke detectors on their own.
Troubleshoot and repair on Generac standby generator
Clear blockage in incoming drain going into septic tank. Customer was experiencing a whole house mainline backup. House is on septic system. Customer has not had tank pumped in 10+ years. Upon removing septic tank lid, there was a visible blockage of soft tissue. Removed blockage and was able to provide flow for house usage until customer gets septic company to come out and pump tank. Clearing successful.
Replace two dual function breakers for dishwasher and washing machine. I checked the connections at the appliances as a courtesy to make sure electrically it was sound. The washing machine receptacle had some of the insulation of the wire under the screw. I remade connections properly for that outlet
Today we came out for a dock inspection, once arrived and Took a thorough evaluation the dock needs a complete overhaul, corded feeder has been chewed theough, lots of corrosion and rust on conduit. I stopped the inspection and decided to quote the overhaul on equipment. Home was completely overhauled in early 2025, previous contractor pre wired using uf cables for new dock power. This option is us installing a new service panel and pole on other side of property was the original idea, homeowner and I discussed about keeping it on same side of backyard which will require a further trench. We re wired dock with new outlet and switch and new wire between all lights since there was no ground between lights, new bells boxes installed and new lights.
Troubleshoot flood light not working. Replace light switch for flood light and 2nd switch as courtesy.
Replaced breaker for air handler with 50a breaker. Used Polaris lugs to downsize wire to fit under 50a breaker, Performed homecare electrical inspection.
Inspection 2005 - 21 year old Goodman gas furnace, 2021 Goodman AC & Coil. System is having intermittent heating issue due to its age. The system has long surpassed its life expectancy and components are starting to fail. The HSI, hot surface igniter is weak and chalky, the gas valve gets stuck sometimes and this causes the furnace to not ignite and then the blower runs for a while. The blower motor is over amping and seeping oil at the main seal. The blower wheel is impacted with debris, reducing airflow through the home and across the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is compromised with rust and metal fatigue on hot spots. The inducer motor is over amping, weak, and the bearings are worn. The flame rectifier is weak and original. There are connections and safety switches that are corroded and water damaged from previous issues. At 21 years old all components and motors are subject to failure and the system is likely to have breakdowns. Due to the age, condition, and operating sta
