We have used TE services for electric issues few times. They are usually prompt to respond and we had same day service which was good. But Their charges when the work is complete always SO MUCH HIGHER than estimated! I called for outdoor lighting not turning on as usual, so I called them and service estimates was $800. When the work was completed, he said that it is $998! Last month, I called them for fire detector making noise, They end up whole house smoke detectors electrically connected costing $3800! I might have to search for more reliable electricians when it comes for final charges.

one of the temperature sensors had a bad battery...what should have happened was the tech should have went and purchased one to make it work, but didnt. I was told I needed to go to the store and buy one. I already paid a lot of money and this I considered poor customer service

Customer has 24 y/o Trane heat pump system that operates for basement level. System has pitted contactor that has caused heat strip kit failure. Incorrect heater gauge wiring. Known R22 refrigerant leak. Rusted evaporator coil. Dirty blower wheel. Bad run capacitor. No water protection present. Informed customer of all findings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Tech arrived to no heat call for downstairs system. System is approximately 10 years old. Inspected system. Saw thermostat had active call for heat coming from thermostat. Furnace was not doing anything. Code on furnace did not indicate any failure other than normal operation. Checked all safety switches, no water in pan and no secondary tripped. Reset power and watched. Furnace came on immediately and fired up as intended. Found furnace inducer to be noisy and overamping. Also found thermostat to be failed. Brought recommendations to customer. Customer agreed to replace inducer motor today and will change out thermostat to something else on own time, as thermostat is somewhat operational. Replaced inducer motor, and verified operations. System is operational and heating at techs departure. Thank you for letting TE CERTIFIED service your home.
Today found water to be coming from the roof in the attic area behind the closet on the 2nd floor. Restored water with no spin on meter
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Repaired and tested heat. System is 30 years old and recommend getting replacement options.
Customer is experiencing a clogged toilet on the main level of the home, and a slow draining bathtub upstairs. Inspected toilet and confirmed clog isolated to the toilet. Inspected bathtub and it drained properly at this time. Informed customer of our Endure drain maintenance product. Gave customer estimate to auger toilet today and will email customer an estimate for the Endure. Customer agreed to the estimate presented and we began work. Used toilet auger to clear clog and tested the toilet thoroughly by flushing with toilet paper. Toilet is now functioning properly at this time. Customer’s water heater and PRV are roughly four years old and functioning properly at this time. Customer is satisfied and paid for today’s service with a check. Customer will be emailed invoice receipt and summary of today’s visit.

For this job we replaced a Challenger main panel in the garage. We installed a 42 space QO main panel in the garage. We installed Duel Function breakers on all 120v circuits. We installed a whole home surge protector below the main panel as well. We installed a 150a main breaker in the main panel as well. Neutrals and grounds are bonded. We are coming back Thursday to install all smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in bedrooms and hallways. And label main panel.
