We have used TE services for electric issues few times. They are usually prompt to respond and we had same day service which was good. But Their charges when the work is complete always SO MUCH HIGHER than estimated! I called for outdoor lighting not turning on as usual, so I called them and service estimates was $800. When the work was completed, he said that it is $998! Last month, I called them for fire detector making noise, They end up whole house smoke detectors electrically connected costing $3800! I might have to search for more reliable electricians when it comes for final charges.

one of the temperature sensors had a bad battery...what should have happened was the tech should have went and purchased one to make it work, but didnt. I was told I needed to go to the store and buy one. I already paid a lot of money and this I considered poor customer service

Customer has two garbage disposals in the kitchen, one installed at the main kitchen sink and one installed at the kitchen island sink. The disposal of the island sink is original to the home, while the disposal at the main kitchen sink is newer. Customer explained that the newer disposal at the main kitchen sink was still operating by making unusual noises, so she stopped using it and began using the island sink disposal instead. After doing so, the island sink disposal, began backing up and eventually stopped working. I advised the customer that both disposals could be reset today to restore temporary operation however, due to the age of the island disposal and the recent performance issues with both units, a reset would not be a long-term solution. I explained that either or both disposal could fail completely in the near future and recommended replacement for a permanent repair. Customer acknowledge the recommendation but elected to only have both disposals reset at this time. Bo

Came because home has airflow issues. When testing system found that dampers were stuck and that zone board did not have proper voltage, Also growth in indoor coil an and blower motor has been overworking for a while now. Replaced expired smoked detectors with customer provided smoke detectors.
For this job, we worked on troubleshooting the play room circuit and replaced a few devices.
Customer has 8 y/o Concord heat pump system that operates for basement level. System was not heating properly due to dirty filter. Replaced 12x20x1 filter. Noticed that drain line was not properly installed. Blower wheel cleaning needed. UV BlueTube operational. Heat strips are operational. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. Condenser coil cleaning needed. Informed customer of findings. System is currently working.
Return to install inducer draft motor on furnace #4
Tech arrived to perform authorized repairs on system. Tech removed failed blower motor and bracket and replaced with new motor/bracket. Replaced failed run capacitor (15MFD). Once repaired, verified operations. System is now heating. Temperature rise is within specs at this time. System is now operational and heating. Thank you for letting TE CERTIFIED service your home.
