Repaired leak on hot service water line in ceiling of garage. Drained house, Cut out section leaking, replaced with copper, pressurized house, blew air out of lines, no leaks.

Label panel and cap off thermostat as well as switch for whole house attic fan. Wire was not disconnected in the panel because we don’t know what else is on the circuit.
Repaired section of pipe in basement ceiling. Water line was leaking due to pin hole leak.
Customer called us out for toilet that is constantly clogging. Tested toilet and found no indication of a blockage at this time. Left estimates for future toilet replacements.
Tech arrived to no problem call for main level system in home. Two systems in home, upstairs was not of concern at the moment. System is approximately 8 years old and zoned between main level and basement. Customer had indicated that system would not come in and making strange sound from inside furnace area. Inspected system. In the carrier error logs, found blower motor fault many consecutive times, however system was operational as of today. While system was operational, refrigerant pressures were within specs. Found outdoor coils dirty on both units. Could not duplicate errors on system on today’s visit. Verified condensate pump was operational and system was draining. System uses pump safety, secondary safety and pan switch. Recommended wet switch versus pan safety switch. Brought recommendations to customer. Customer agreed to have blower motor/module replaced as well as outdoor units cleaned. Signed up for HomeCare plan YEARLY. Tested system not cooling for the upstairs level. Found leaking refrigerant and conducted an electronic leak search. Could not pinpoint where the leak is at this time. We would need to perform a nitrogen leak surge in order to pinpoint the leak and be able to quote the cost of the repair of the leak. Due to the cost of this replacement might be the best option at this time. Also looked at the basement level. Customer had high electric bills in the winter time. There is no heat pump installed on the outdoor system and air handler on the inside. This means the system is only heating off of heat strips. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
