Inspect issue with failed switches Replaced two switches
Upon arrival customer stated that heat had stopped working and was not coming on. After inspection of 8 year old furnace found that system had a very clogged (20x25x1) filter that made the high limit switch activate and shut system off. Replaced customer supplied furnace and everything started up and began to heat. Checked over all operations of system, blower wheel is clean, blower motor capacitor tested good with no issues, inside system cabinet was clean. Amps on inducer draft motor and blower motor tested good with no issues. There is no drain pan on system or flood protection on equipment. Cleaned flame sensor and made sure pressure switch tube port was clean. The system is undersupplied on return duct work. Duct system is old. Recommended gas line repair, adding sediment trap, adding wet pan and in line flood protection, replacing condensation pump, and speaking with install supervisor about duct modifications, customer declined recommendations at this time. Completed system diagnosis Found a bad ECM blower motor not working and a rusty inducer motor allowing condensation into the bottom part of the furnace creating damage to the blower and control board. Provide and install a new high-quality EMC/VS fan blower motor for the existing furnace unit. Includes removal and disposal of the existing motor, installation of the new unit, field testing, cleanup, and warranty. Clear blockage in mainline thru exterior cleanout Clear blockage on mainfloor shower. Bottle of endure for preventative maintenance Customer was experiencing a mainline blockage affecting right side house fixtures. This is not the first time customer has mainline blockage. Same blockage occurred 1 year ago. Customer had other company clear blockage. We were able to clear blockage through exterior cleanout going into home. After clearing we tested my running water for a long duration of time. Possible belly in line due to puddle of water in cleanout. Also cleared an individual blockage in shower drain inside master bathroom. Ran k45 cable inside drain to remove hair blockage. Camera inspection scheduled for Wednesday to provide a permanent solution.
