For this job I came to see a leak on a water heater, found out the old expansion thermal valve was leaking. I replaced it with a new expansion tank and strapped it to the wall. Psi was set to 75 psi on tank. Tested and left work area clean. I also did a diagnostic on why there was low water flow on hot side of tub filler in master bath. After diagnosis I found out that the filter on the hot side was filled with debris. Turned off water to home and cleaned out the filter on the mixing valve. Opened water back on and flow was restored.
For this job, I rendered leak detection services and discovered that the leak is on an irrigation system in the back left-hand corner of the side yard of the home. The main line tees off and feeds the irrigation system in the backyard. We isolated the meter and the main shut off in the house, and once we shut off the irrigation box, the meter stopped running. there were no other observations that indicated a leak anywhere on the main line.

It appears the internal components of the outlet have been compromised, which caused arcing. We will go through the circuit to determine if there are any other connection points that need to be corrected. Customer had fire department come out and they recommended calling an electrician to inspect the electrical circuit. Fire department had reading between 120°F and 140°F in the wall near the outlet location. After diagnosing the circuit, we determined that there are several junction boxes that have been improperly installed and are causing continuity in the circuit. There has also been some work that has been completed that is not up to current code that is tied into the electrical system on the circuit. This has been brought to the customers attention. Customer has requested that we tie in that part of the circuit so all electrical c
