Just the best

We had an ongoing electrical issue that far exceeded anything I could do. I booked an appointment with TE Certified and within minutes, I had a day, time, and the name of a technician that would be coming to my home. Ron Oliver (and also Evan) arrived exactly when he said he would, which made it much easier for me to make sure someone was home. Upon seeing the issue, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem and go over several ways to approach fixing it. At all times he kept me involved in the process, from showing me why it was happening, to showing me exactly how he was going to fix it. He never spoke down to me, but rather as a peer. He went over all the options of what could be done and brought issues to my attention that I was not aware of. At no point did I feel like he was trying to upsell me. Once we agreed on the repairs (again, I never felt pressured), Ron and Evan got to work. They were professional through and through and after all the repairs were done, Ron walked me through each aspect and addressed any questions I had. I will 100% reach out to TE Certified for any of my electrician needs in the future.

Awesome service

Martin and his partner arrived early on the day of the appointment. He gave me different options that I could chose from and explained each option completely. He did have to go the shop for the materials as I have an older home, but when he got back, it was no problem and he got the job done quickly.

Upon arrival customer stated that nothing was coming on for system. Stated unit had been working fine with no issues since repair was done. After inspection of system found that fuse was blown on equipment side of system. There was still power for thermostats and zone board. Did a full inspection on 24 volt circuit and did not see anything that would cause fuse to blow. Contactor tested good, no wires were touching on system. Customer did advised me that power did flicker and came right back on before this happened. Construction In neighborhood just finished as well. Installed new fuse and ran heat for 45 minutes did not find any issues with refrigerant repairs that was done in December, refrigerant pressures were great with no issues. Homeowner was considering adding a supply to a bedroom area for the basement. When the unit was installed in 2018, the basement was not considered actual living space, there are two supply vents going to the basement. I explained the adding a supply for a bedroom area. We would also need to add a return to prevent overheating the basement area since that area is going be closest to the furnace/AC. Since the main floor thermostat is not a zoned system. Recommended having the basement fully furnished without changing the ceiling and waiting a few weeks in the summer so we can gauge if adding ductwork is the right solution, gave homeowner ballpark estimate of $2500-$3000 to add a return and a supply for that bedroom area.

Customer has 8 y/o 2-zone Lennox system that operates for whole house. System is not heating or cooling due to low pressure levels indicating loos of refrigerant. Found bad evaporator coil. Noticed during inspection, poor water protection. Dirty blower wheel. Incorrect drain line pitch. Zone board needs separate transformer. Recommend UV BlueTube to protect evaporator coil. Informed customer of all findings. Recommend HomeCare Program for regular maintenance.

Excavate existing water meter add new meter nipple and new check valve. Excavate at foundation wall under second window to the left of staircase on front of home to expose main service penetration. Trench from hole at foundation to existing water meter. Sawcut 10 inch wide area of sidewalk to provide access for trench. Install new HDP water service and trench into the meter and transitioning out foundation wall into soft copper through penetration and tie into existing plumbing system in basement. Homeowner recently had new PRV installed a new whole home shut off so we will just be tying into the existing plumbing system. We will install a courtesy valve box for easy hole home shut off in front of existing meter. Test new system for leaks fill in excavation holes/trench, and cleanup. Rock borders were removed for trenching and put back after installation. New line was installed and bored under sidewalk. No concrete removal was necessary so the line item was removed from ticket. Customer stated he has been experiencing inconsistent water pressure readings throughout the home. He mentioned that after flushing, the 15-year-old 50 gallon gas water heater, he began noticing pressure fluctuations and reduce performance at fixtures. Today, we performed a thorough plumbing system evaluation. Initial water pressure reading was 85 psi, and upon retesting, pressure dropped to 65 psi, indicating inconsistent regulation. Based on these fluctuating readings, it was determined that the existing pressure reducing valve is failing and no longer maintaining stable downstream pressure. Additionally, the expansion tank showed signs of improper operation and is no longer functioning as designed. Due to the age of the 15-year-old water heater and the recent pressure concerns, customer elected to move forward with replacing the 50 gallon gas, water heater, pressure, reducing valve, and thermal expansion tank with properly secured bracket. After installation, system was fully pres

Customer stated that he had reset the bathroom gfi. This then caused and the bedroom, hall bathroom, and guest bedrooms to lose power. We did a visual inspection and informed the customer that a troubleshoot would have to be done. Customer agreed. We found that a safety breaker, which was located in the Sub panel, was in the tripped position. When turned on, the gfi in the bathroom would trip but the bedrooms regained power. When the gfi was reset, it would trip the breaker in the main panel for the gfi and the breaker in the sub panel. This let us know that it was back-fed. This means that there are two sources of power going to the circuits. We capped of the load side, which was being fed off of another breaker, in the bathroom gfi outlet. We then checked outlets and switches for proper voltage.
