New Customer Report of Excellent Service

Jonah's service call was an impressive first experience for us as a new customer with TE Certified. His thorough diagnostic process including contacting the unit's manufacturer customer support is an example of standard of excellence more contractors in Gwinnett County should learn from.

Breaker panel replacement & whole home new switch and outlet installation

The service technician was highly skilled and knowledgeable about the work performed. He was efficient in the performance of the work and kept us informed as the work progressed. If complications were experienced, he was quick to explain the issue, the resolution and if any additional charges were to be incurred. If future work is required, we prefer Hubert Klejzerowicz assigned to our work order.

Customer called us out for backups in basement bathroom. Basement bathroom is on a septic tank. Pulled basement toilet and ran cable to clear line. Tested fixtures and everything is flowing fine as of this moment. Customer was made aware that if backups continue it is most likely related to septic tank and not a blockage.

Tested system not heating for basement level system. Fully tested and found cracks in heat exchanger causing the system to overheat and trip high limit. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Verify the customer’s concern of the garbage disposal leaking then suggested multiple options. Customer chose to go with a three-quarter hp option as well as re-pipe the waste drains underneath the sink I cut the stack and rebuilt it to the appropriate height so that the PR can drain via gravity as well as put in a new Studer vent at the proper height, so the drains can vent.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Customer has 5 y/o Goodman heat pump that operates for basement level. Noticed during inspection that defrost control board was faulty and burnt on backside. Component would not operate in defrost mode, which potentially caused evaporator coil to freeze along with line set and outdoor unit, causing water in pan. Replaced defrost control board. Tested defrost mode. Recommend water protection upgrade. Biological growth presence. Recommend UV BlueTube to target and prevent biological growth. Condenser coil cleaning needed. Pressure levels were normal. Heat strips are operational. Replaced customer supplied 16x20x1 filter. System is currently working.
