Performed 1 system diagnostic for whole home unit. Found no te flood protection failed igniter, dirty blower, condenser unit is 23’ while coil and furnace is 2013. Customer requested estimate for new system for coil and furnace. Replace igniter and tested operations. Unit is now heating. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Came out because the customer was concerned about his Hvac system not heating properly. The system is working but not efficiently. I set the blower motor to its highest speed. I checked static and gas pressures and they were good. I removed the filter from the system because it was restricted. I checked my delta T and the temperature at the register and they were in the low 80’s. I checked the out door unit because this system is a dual fuel system. The fan was spinning and the suction line was hot. Both the outdoor and indoor unit were running at the same time therefore the house should have gotten better temperatures at the registers. I ran the system for 45 minutes straight and the temperature stayed at 71 degrees the entire time. Recommendations: The furnace is 20 years old so it will not operate at its optimal capacity anymore. The system needs to be replaced.
Troubleshoot water heater not getting power. Replaced water heater disconnect and whip to water heater. Replaced breaker for water heater When troubleshooting we noticed every breaker had the screws extremely loose. We tightened all the screws for the breakers and the neutrals. The disconnect was melting as well as the wire going to the terminals. Because the screws for the breaker were loose we also replaced the breaker for the water heater to diminish any chances of future failure. Everything tested and working properly.

Performed customer 1 system HVAC Inspection Gas furnace is 17 years old, ac and coil is. 7 years old. Did full evaluation of system, customer recently changed (20x25x5) media filter. Blower wheel is dirty, blower motor capacitor tested good. Unit does have a bad furnace control board, there are burn marks on control board where the high voltage terminal are. Tightened all low voltage connections for control board. Cleaned flame sensor and pressure switch tube port. Amos on inducer draft motor and blower motor tested ok at this time. Made sure condensation pump was working correctly and drain line was clear. Checked outdoor unit, system has a bad outdoor capacitor, contactor tested good, condenser coils are very dirty. When condenser fan motor starts up it’s very slow then ramps up advised customer that bad capacitor will cause these issue with the outdoor fan motor. For this job, I rendered leak detection services for Miss Loretta Paris during my inspection. I discovered the leak in the front right hand corner of the yard about 20 feet off the front of the meter adjacent in old dogwood tree location has been marked with flagged. I also noticed during my investigation that Miss Loretta has two hose bibs that were constantly running. They have both failed. I isolated both of them on the inside, but did quote her for 2 hose bib replacement.
Performed diagnostic for potential water leak. Patient after leaking from the main level down into the storage units. Found laundry area to have signs of water. Examined the water lines in the wall and discovered a pinhole leak. For the amount of water on the floor I do not believe the amount of water that is on the floor came from the pinhole leak. The area will be monitored and then we will be contacted. The water pressure is 120 psi and well above regulations. I provided estimates for repair.
