Jeffrey is the best. Friendly and very informative guy. Needed help adding a ceiling junction box, new switch, and installing a new chandelier in the a room on the ground floor with no attic access. Clean job no drywall work needed to be repaired. He stayed late to finish the job and he made sure the job is done right! When I do business with TE Certified I will request Jeffrey every time if possible!

For this job the customer stated they found a leak on the PRV located in the crawlspace. Further inspection showed the old PRV showed signs of age and corrosion. PRV was replaced as well as replacing the old gate valve with a new ball valve. Work was performed and thoroughly tested to ensure there were no leaks. Tank you for choosing TE Certified.
Customer called about a clogged toilet. It is the hall toilet between the living room and kitchen. Upon arrival the toilet had a high water level indicating that it was clogged. I recommended that I auger the toilet. I cleared the blockage and pulled back a pad of some sort. I tested the toilet for drainage it is draining properly. Spigots are winterized could not check pressure.
TE certified will have to cut approximately 20 sq/ft of sheet rock, reroute the stack as it drops down the wall, drill a new hole through the flooring, reroute the drain line and tie it into the main trunk line. Sheet rock will not be replaced or repaired by TE certified. also, in addition to the last estimate provided, we would need to reroute two 1 1/2 PVC drain lines and tied into a 3 inch ABS line raising that 3 inch ABS line and notching it through studs, ensuring proper slope on all drainage connections. Approximately 4x drain lines would need to be reworked. also, we would need to be abandoning two gas lines and rerouting the way that they run. No permits would be required
During our visit, a new water service line was installed from the water meter to the inside of the home. A 1” high density polyethylene pipe was buried at 18”+ deep, along with a new dual check valve at the water meter. The penetration was made at the foundation wall with soft copper wrapped in burial tape. The inside and outside of the wall was sealed with hydraulic cement and tar. A shutoff valve was added in a new valve box in front of the water meter as a courtesy. A new pressure reducing valve and main shutoff were also installed in the basement. These repairs were tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!!
Repaired another pinhole leak in copper. Recommend repiping home if this Happens again
I replaced 3 gfi breakers that went bad. Corrected the reverse polarity on a receptacle in the basement. Added a gfi in the laundry room. Replaced an outside gfi that was not functioning properly.
Customer water heater was leaking and was 14 years old and replaced it with Rheem platinum water heater
Completed full system inspections. Upstairs Plenums and ductwork upstairs are in poor shape. Biological growth is on the ductwork upstairs and the attic has a mildew smell. Air filter is wrong for the cabinet. Condenser coil is dirty. System lacks adequate flood protection Main Condenser coil is dirty. System lacks adequate flood protection. The equipment and living space would benefit from IAQ enhancements.
Came out today with customer stating that the LED lay in light was tripping the breaker. Performed diagnostic and found that it was a dead end switch with no power to switch. Installed new junction box for light and replaced switch. All lighting effected by that breaker is functioning properly.
We redeviced the kitchen with all new updated outlets and repaired all of the issues we found.
Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Today we came out for main level furnace not heating trane 2011 natural gas 60k with matching 2.5 ton ac. Checked operations found failed digital thermostat. Performed safety inspection on furnace checked heat exchanger with digital camera found crack @ 7 o clock. Tagged furnace unsafe to operate in heating mode due to potential carbon monoxide fumes. Flue piping is not up to current code and client has minimal flood protection. Scheduled install supervisor for tomorrow last call to give options on updating as equipment is at full life expectancy
For this job, I came out to increase pressure the newly PRV that was installed not to long ago. Also went ahead and re-lit the water heater. went ahead and tested pressure was between 65 to 50.
For this job, we replaced two flood lights, installed a new flood light, replaced a ceiling fan and installed new basement lights.
