Ricky Newsome the plumbing technician was very professional and pleasant to work with. He did his work very cleanly, answered my questions patiently. He gave me the impression and confidence that TE Certified is a good company. Their prices are quite high (30-40% more) compared to competitors though. I hope they can reduce their prices. Otherwise I would highly recommend this company as a repeat customer.

Diagnose wiring in light box and hook back up properly
The homeowner was receiving lukewarm water throughout the house. I checked both water heaters: the tank water heater was set to 130°F, while the tankless water heater was set to 120°F. The issue arose because when the 50 gallons of hot water from the tank ran out, the 120°F water from the tankless heater mixed with it, resulting in lukewarm water. To resolve this, I adjusted the settings on the tankless water heater to allow it to increase up to 140°F. However, at the homeowner's request, I set the tankless heater to 130°F, informing them that this setting could be adjusted. I noted that I do not recommend leaving it at that higher temperature, especially considering that the code minimum is 120°F. Additionally, I observed that everywhere in the house, except for the master shower and the daughter's shower, was receiving lukewarm water. I advised the homeowner to replace the cartridges in these showers. The homeowner has ordered a specialty Delta cartridge, and once it arrives, we
For this job, I installed a new outlet door outlet.
Today Kelly has called us out here because she has water filled in her meter and water is currently leaking in the general vicinity. When doing further investigation, I could hear water leaking in the ground in front of the water meter. Advise that leak is most likely digging it up to get down to it and identify what the piping is. Buried the crown to expose the water main service where I found that it is leaking from the soix chief fitting connecting to the irrigation. Kelly asked us to not reconnect to the irrigation because of the amount of issues that they’ve had with multiple leaks. As requested, I reconnected the main service line and capped the irrigation line to terminate irrigation service. Turn water back on and tested for leaks found no issues.
Today I performed a water heater relocation, shower remodel installation customer supplied, in vanity sink customer supplied. Tested work and found no issues or leaks. Performed a walk-through with guy and is happy with the work.
Continued wiring home and cut in outlets and hung fixtures
Install new pressure reducing valve. Set pressure to 50 psi. Installed new tub drains in master and guest bathroom. Installed new basket, trainer and rebuilt drains to remove S trap. Installed new Studer vent as courtesy. Tighten down freestanding tub faucet. Installed new shower contraption in master bathroom. Rotated gas line behind stove. Pulled and reset toilet in guest bathroom. Checked and tested for leaks. No leaks.
Homeowner called us out due to a water stain in the ceiling. After cutting the ceiling open in basement, there was water running along the hot supply piping but no obvious rupture. After further investigation and tracking the lines run, I found wet spots and moisture behind the water heater in the garage. Opened the wall being the water heater, inside the dogs play area, and found the ruptured Uponor piping. Cut the section out and replaced it with new piping and fittings. Tested and checked for leaks. *Homeowner is aware of high pressure at this time.
Replace the existing electrical system with a new high capacity main electrical panel and larger service for the home. Install shock protection safety breakers, install a new grounding system, new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors around the home and whole home surge protection. Full system changeout for whole house
Replace all copper throughout home with pex piping, replace two shower valves
Today I demoed out the wiring, boxes, and devices of two switches. I ran a new wire from an existing outlet, which I replaced, to a new two gang box. Out of that two gang box, I ran two new switch legs; one to light and one to the exhaust fan in the bathroom. I also ran new 4 inch duct from the exhaust fan to the vent in the attic. I also replaced a GFCI outlet in the basement. I also upgraded the existing breaker, feeding the lighting circuit to a dual function. I also removed an existing dangerous Sycom surge protector, and replaced it with a brand new Eaton surge protector
Clear blockage in laundry machine room Cleared a blockage inside 2nd floor laundry room, left side drain pipe. Ran k45 cable down drain and brought back cast iron sludge. Was able to successfully clear blockage. Tested by running a load and draining water from machine. No signs of drain backing up. Clearing successful. Setting tgl for service tech, weird noise coming from faucets when turning on hot water.
Install installed all new waterlines to the master bathroom on the top floor, and the guest bathroom on the top floor. Also replaced the waterlines to the half bathroom on the main floor and to the kitchen on the same floor as well. Also installed a new PRV and may shut off and connect to the existing plumbing. Pressurized and tested everything to make sure everything was leak proof and that the static pressure of the house is at 70 psi.
