Luis and Caleb did an excellent job reinstalling a meter and service pole over some newly hung siding. They were careful to avoid screwing into any pipes and ensured to use corrosion-resistant fasteners after finding out they would be mounting the pole to pressure treated wood.

Arrived today to give an estimate for a 65 gallon hybrid water heater. Met with customer and discussed current issues and their needs and wants moving forward. We presented options and Kent chose the 65 gallon hybrid with built in leak detection. Had electrical arrive and complete necessary work including running and 30 amp circuit to the unit from the panel. Installed a disconnect within range of the heater and installed an outlet as well for the condensation pump. Restored water and tested for leaks. Ran fixtures inside to remove all air from the system before powering the heater on. Once on we did the initial set up and gave a brief description to Mr Kent about how the system operates and how to make any changes he may need. Thank up for choosing TE Certified.
For this job I came out and replaced a 50 gallon gas water heater and pressure regulating valve. Also installed ion 6 conditioner for the water heater to suspend calcium and magnesium build up going to the tank. Tested and checked for leaks. Conducted a super clean up.
Ran a new ground wire from the main disconnect to the main water line and jumped the pressure reducing valve, bonded the hot and cold water lines, installed two new ground rods and two whole home surge protectors for the main electrical panel and sub panel.
Today I came out for 1 system Home Care. Furnace is located in the crawlspace. When I opened up the furnace I found water sitting inside near drain tubing. I couldn’t pin point where the water is coming from, but something we need to keep an eye out for. I inspected all electrical components, checked gas pressures, static pressures, blower wheel, evaporator coil, heat exchanger, duct work, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned inducer draft tubing, changed the filter, and cleared drain lines. Blower wheel and evaporator coils have dust and debris built up on them. Biological growth is present around the evaporator drain pan. Both supply and return ducts have dust and debris all throughout. Duct work is ripped/torn all throughout and needs to be re-insulated. Condenser coils are heavily impacted with dirt and debris. For this job, we installed a back to back outdoor outlet, a new light in the living room off the ceiling fan, and a new flood light.
Called out to inspect leaking water heater in the basement. Upon arrival found that the water heater was leaking from the tank itself. Advise the homeowner that there are no repairs for this issue and that that we would need to replace it. Gave the homeowner multiple options for different warranty tank water heaters bundled with replacing the main shut off valve, and PRV has a proactive measure. Homeowner agreed to go with a 6year water heater only today. Began by shutting off water to the home and draining the system. Once the system restrain, cut out old water heater and replace with a new 6year rheem tank water heater up to all current code requirements. Once work was complete reintroduce water to the system and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and everything is functioning properly. Customer had a pinhole leak in copper piping in crawlspace. Performed band aid repair today replacing section that contained pinhole. Customer signed estimate to go ahead and replace all copper piping in crawlspace for fixtures on ground level. Customer wants to schedule work for next week after Tuesday
Installed new boiler drain on old state water heater due to leak in garage. Recommended to homeowners dad to change out water heater due to being almost 30 years old and a lot of brown water is coming from water heater. Advised homeowners father to change out hot water heater multiple times and let homeowners dad know that this water heater does not have much time left.
Did troubleshoot on both thermostats and elements on AO smith water heater. Reading on the power was good. The reading on the elements were good. Customer has to reset the water heater thermostat daily. Recommended replacing thermostat and doing electric water heater rebuild.
Upon arrival spoke with the customer about low pressure to his hall bath shower. Took the faucet apart and discovered the plastic handle adapter for the diverter stem was broken. Gave the customer options. He is going to order the part and try to repair it himself but an estimate was left for the repair. During my initial walk through i noticed the expansion tank had failed and the customer chose to replace it. Turned off the water to the house, remove tank, installed new expansion tank that was mounted to a bracket and mounted to the structure of the home. All work was tested and air was bled from fixtures.
Replaced only damaged items in shed. TE will need to re pulled shed feeder to supply a proper neutral and ground system to shed.
Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on the whole home HVAC system. Tested heating and cooling from the thermostat. Measured the electrical component readings and standing refrigerant pressures. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Checked the 4” AprilAire media filter. Measured ductwork and ran ductwork calculations. Adjusted the fins of one of the return grills to reduce noise. Reported findings to the customer. Customer approved to have the condenser coil cleaned. Rinsed the unit off with water and soaked with coil cleaner for 15 minutes. Rinsed off the unit once more and ensured no coil cleaner was remaining. Reported results to the customer.

Completed furnace inspection Single System Signs of water present in the drain pan and surrounding areas. Flame sensor is green and oxidated. Blower wheel is dirty. Supply plenum and ductwork is leaking in multiple areas. Equipment lacks IAQ enhancements and wet switch flood safety.
