We were called out due to the homeowner experiencing an unusually high water bill. Upon arrival, the main shutoff valve inside the house was turned off, and the water meter was inspected. An active leak was found on the main service line at a female brass fitting located directly in front of the water meter. During our inspection, several plumbing components were observed to be improperly installed and not up to current code or industry standards. The homeowner was not satisfied with the quality of the previous work and elected to have the system corrected and professionally reinstalled. A new 1-inch main water service line was installed from the water meter to the basement using high-density black polyethylene piping, including a new wall penetration. The wall penetration was properly sealed using hydraulic cement and tar to ensure a watertight and weatherproof seal. At the meter, a new meter nipple, dual check valve, and a courtesy ball valve with a dedicated valve box were installe

For this job the customer noticed a wet spot on the ceiling which appeared to be coming from the upstairs bathroom. Upon further investigation we noticed water coming from the base of the toilet, however, the toilet was not located where the leak on the ceiling had appeared. In order to determine where the leak was coming from we cut a small hole in the ceiling and discover a small pin hole leak on the copper piping. The customer decided to fix the pin hole leak as well as pull and reset the toilet. Once the toilet was pulled we noticed that the flange was broke and talked to the customer about replacing it. The customer stated that the bathroom was going to be remolded in the upcoming weeks and decided not to replace it since it will be replaced during the renovation. We reset the toilet and ensured there was not rocking as well as flushing it multiple times to ensure there was no leak. Work was performed and thoroughly tested. Tank you for choosing TE Certified.

Customer called us out for a whole home mainline blockage. I checked the outside cleanout on arrival and it was full of water. I recommended clearing the line with a cable machine and customer agreed. I ran the cable machine all the way down and felt no resistance. I then checked the street sewer and found a large root ball. I poked at the root ball with a rod until there was enough clearance to drain the line. I then widened the hole as much as possible. I scheduled a sewer supervisor to come out 12/29/25 2-5 P.M..

No heat upstairs due to a clogged draft inducer motor port. I had to open the draft inducer motor, in order to clear the port. Tested system multiple times, with no issues. Recommend to install an in line switch, to the drain line, to prevent water in the drain pan, and to sign up for home care maintenance program. Home care maintenance program gives two visits for hvac, one free whole house electrical and plumbing inspection, 10% off any repair.

Trench new water, main service from existing water meter through front yard to foundation wall create new penetration at foundation wall tie into existing plumbing system. Cap old water service line install new watts 25AUBPRV install new three-quarter ball valve for whole home shut off. Install new courtesy valve box in front of existing meter box, tie back into irrigation system. Installation: We excavated in front of the meter and at the house where the old line penetrated. Trenched a ditch and installed the new water line. We provided a shut off valve in its own box in front of the meter. We used the old penetration for the water line. Inside we removed the old shut off and PRV and replaced with a new ball valve and Watts PRV. The water line was sealed on the inside and outside with hydraulic cement. Furnace nit making noise on arrival and we could not recreate the noise while I was here. I did observe that the condensation pump had failed and the red light was on, pump was very hot. Replaced the pump with home owners permission. Furnace is 15 hears old and has exceeded its average life expectancy. Recommended updating the gas furnace. System operating properly on departure. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!

Homeowner had a leak underneath the kitchen sink. The chrome trap had rusted and was corroded. We replaced both of the basket strainers. The chrome trap was cut back to the copper waste arm. Transitioned from the tubular pvc with a fernco. The tubular pvc was replaced and everything was tested multiple times. There was a slight leak on the dishwasher supply line. This was tightened up and checked. No additional charge to homeowner, no warranty. Any issues with it will be at homeowners expense.
