Ricky Newsome the plumbing technician was very professional and pleasant to work with. He did his work very cleanly, answered my questions patiently. He gave me the impression and confidence that TE Certified is a good company. Their prices are quite high (30-40% more) compared to competitors though. I hope they can reduce their prices. Otherwise I would highly recommend this company as a repeat customer.

Lexx was great to work with, very professional. On time, explained what he would do and did it! He installed a hot water circulator pump so we would get hot water faster to our bathrooms at the end of the house. I used to take about 2 minutes to get hot water, now its hot in 10 seconds!

For this job, I installed a customer supplied car charger. I ran a new 60 amp circuit to the garage and ran conduit along the garage wall to bring the charger to the middle of the garage. I installed the 60 amp breaker in the panel to the left since it had the least amperage usage according to my load calculation.
No heat whole home. Upon arrival discovered unit did not appear to have low voltage at indoor equipment. Visually inspected outdoor equipment as well. When walking up to outdoor equipment the electrical compartment of heat pump was open to the elements for an unknown period of time as the cover was laying on the ground with large amount of dirt and debris on top of it. Informed homeowner of my findings and advised due to the condition of equipment prior to my arrival there would be no telling what I was going to determine needed replacing. Upon inspection found the fuse had blown in unit, indoor control board had failed, blower motor has play in shaft indicating bearing failure, large amounts of biological growth inside unit, very rusty evap coil, outdoor control board has corroded soldier joints on back of board and a very strong smell of burning radiating from board, contactor is very rusty due to element exposer along with capacitor as well. Informed customer that the control b
Installed new flue with blower power venter system. Tested all components system is operating properly at time.
Completed tank.ess diagnostic with Rinnai on the phone. Rinnai said the units were set to too high of a temperature. Shower also does not call for enough water to initiate units. Units also are 15 years old and in need of replacement.
Return to install a properly sized thermal expansion tank, which was a four gallon. Started by turning the water off and unplugging the recirculation pump. I then drained down all the freshwater lines within the home.By turning on all of the fixtures. I then uninstalled the two gallon thermal expansion tank and piped in a new four gallon.Thermal expansion tank that is properly supported by a bracket. Pressure tested by flushing all of the air out of the lines and checking for leaks and then checking to make sure that no fixtures got clogged in the process. Turn to the water heater power back on and allowed for it to heat up completely. No leaks and no further issues. Thank you for choosing and trusting t e with your plumbing needs.
Clear blockage in kitchen sink, no warranty on this call. Customer was experiencing a hard blockage in kitchen sink. Ran k400 cable inside drain and cleared blockage. When pulling cable back I brought back grease in line. Recommended jetting the line to get rid of grease that can cause future backups. We were able to get flow today with 400 cable. Leaving estimate to perform mini jetting.
No heat, due to a dirty flame sensor. Cleaned flame sensor, and heat works. Inspected system. Heat exchanger has some heavy hot spots and it’s compromised, evaporator coil is covered by biological growth, single capacitor is weak, and blower wheel dirty. Also, outside dual capacitor is very weak (reading 15 on a 45 microfarad), and no flood protection in the drain line. System is working, but air quality in the house is severe contaminated, less air flow and heat exchanger compromised. I didn’t find ny crack, at this time, but it can occur anytime. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommended), but the best option, due to the age (13 years old) and conditions of the system (heat exchanger compromised, evaporator coil covered biological growth, etc) would be to upgrade the system, with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Arrived on site to install a Rheem tankless water heater in the customer basement. The customer’s Rheem tankless water heater was still covered through warranty, which I was able to track down an exact model and made the replacement. After I installed the water heater, I went ahead and turn the water back on set the temperature to 120°. I ran the water heater for about 10 minutes and checked a few sinks around the house and got a temperature reading of 120°. I informed customer if they would like the temperature to be higher that they could do so with the control controller on the unit.
Home inspection on one system, 13 years old located in crawl space. Inspected entire system. Heat exchanger is rusted, with some heavy hot spots and compromised. Didn’t find any crack at this time, but it can occur anytime. Flame sensor and igniter are weak, single capacitor very weak (reading 2.2 on a 5.0 microfarad), dual capacitor getting weak also (reading 44 on a 45 microfarad), blower wheel very dirty and system is low on Freon (possible evaporator coil leaking). Outside condenser in needed to be chemically washed. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommended), however, at this age and conditions, highly recommend to upgrade the system, with a 10 year warranty and WiFi thermostat. Current system has single speed blower motor, and new systems come with variable speed motor, that helps to control the humidity in the house, to save energy and make house more comfortable. Set a lead to quote upgrading for today. We should credit back 139,00 spent today, if customer upgrade
Installed new drip pan, pressure reducing valve, and 1/2 gas whip. After installing new hardware on water heater checked for leaks and found none. Also found water pressure now to be in safe range at 60 psi.
Homecare inspection and minor repair. Install a new gfci at the corner of the patio.
Removed disposal and re-installed adding plumbers putty to the collar and locking the collar. Added new caulking around the tub spout as it began to separate from tile and spout. Work on tub spout done as a courtesy.
