Luis is the best

Luis and Caleb did an excellent job reinstalling a meter and service pole over some newly hung siding. They were careful to avoid screwing into any pipes and ensured to use corrosion-resistant fasteners after finding out they would be mounting the pole to pressure treated wood.

Customer had five toilets waiting for us to install throughout every bathroom within their home. Pressure on the the house was eighty p s I and p.R v was original. I also pointed out to the customer that there stops for the toilets were original as well. Customer agreed to have all five toilets replaced, p r v and emergency shutoff valve replaced, and all five stop valves for all of the toilets replaced. While replacing the toilets and stop valves to of the flanges were cracked and needed to be repaired. They were all on the upper floor in the jack and jill and guest bathroom. I then installed a thermal expansion tank. That is bracketed to the side of the water.Heater. After all these installations we slowly primed all of the air out of the lines and checked for leaks, there was a leak coming off of one of the new stop valves on the compression fitting and at a propris joint at the water.Heater. Repaired leaks and tested good. Afterwards, we cocked in the base of the toilets and checked

Properly Performed spring/fall maintenance 3 systems. Replaced all filters checked blower wheels for built up dirt/dust, cleaned flame sensors, cleared inducer ports, tested hot surface igniters, took delta Ts, cleared drain lines, tested safety switches, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, monitored systems operations. 36 degrees outside temperature, did not turn AC on. The main floor system water safety switches were not connected correctly. I fixed issue and tested wet safety switch. Wet safety switch is working properly.

Inspected for issue. Found that the drains for the hvac, T&P, and pan drain were tied together and drilled into the side of the sewer ejector pit. Removed this piping and repiped correctly. PVC male adapter was broken inside of the T&P. Replaced safety valve. Ran drain piping to the exterior of the home. Capped pipe on side of ejector pit and pan drain. Suggested replacement of the pump pit. This service was declined. Expansion tank is not correctly installed. Replacement was declined. Tested for leaks and function, all good. T.E. Certified is not responsible for any sewage that leaks from the pit. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.

Homeowner has a leak behind the vanity in the upstairs hall bathroom. The vanity is installed with euro style plumbing. The homeowner also has a failed thermal expansion tank on the water heater. Unscrewed the vanity and removed the caulking on the vanity. Pulled the vanity and disposed of the vanity per the request of the homeowner. Cut Sheetrock behind vanity and located leak. The leak is on the 1/2” cold water line, about 4” off the floor. Cut water line from below. Stubbed up new 1/2” Type L copper water line, about 3’ in total length. Cut and removed shutoff valve on hot side. Installed new 1/2” caps on both hot and cold side. Removed old 1/4” trap adapter. Installed new 1 1/2” x 2” bell reducer. Installed new 1 1/2” PVC drain piping, and new 1 1/2” trap adapter. Removed failed thermal expansion tank. Threaded new propress male into expansion tee. Installed expansion tank mounting bracket onto adjacent wall. Mounted expansion tank to bracket. Installed approximately 10” of new 3

Homeowners noticed a spot in the bathroom ceiling, poked a hole in the ceiling exposing the pinhole leak. We exposed the compromised pipe, removed it and replaced the section with new piping. All work was tested and checked for leaks.

No Heat Upstairs System Blown transformer likely due to short in contactor that occurred during recent thunderstorms. Heat exchanger is also cracked. Ductwork is below grade and in poor condition. Setup HomeCare plan today

Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on both HVAC systems in the home (upstairs and main floor). The customer informed us that both heat exchangers have recently been replaced by their home warranty company. Tested heating and cooling from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Checked and replaced the 1” air filters. Treated the drain lines with enzymes. Reported findings to the customer. Customer approved to perform repairs on the main floor system flue vent. Picked up material from Apex Supply Marietta. Disposed of the single wall flue vent and discovered that the roof connection was not fully sealed, only connected with silver tape. Connected the double wall flue vent and ensured the flue pipe is connected to the furnace. Highly recommended that the customer calls out a roofer to take a look at the roof connection.

We were called out today by the customer to replace their Moen Flo water monitoring device. The customer has a replacement unit onsite. They also asked us to flush their tankless water heater. We tested the customer’s water pressure and found large pressure drops/swings when running a fixture in the house. We recommend replacing their pressure reducing valve. Work performed: Replaced customer supplied Moen Flo water monitor, installed a new pressure reducing valve, and descaled tankless water heater. Thank you!

Main level system not working due to a bad transformer and burnt blower motor wire. Also, heat exchanger is very rusted and possible leaking Co. Blower wheel super dirty and evaporator coil with biological growth. Furnace is from 1997, condenser 2013 and evaporator coil 2012. No drain pan under the furnaces, one condensate pump connecting both systems and no flood protection devices at all. Due tot he age and conditions of the system, the best option would be to upgrade the system, and bring safety, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Basement system is 26 years old and runs with r22 Freon. Customer wants a quote for the main level and possible for the basement , as well. Set a lead to quote upgrading for the min level and possible the basement system for today. We should credit 98,00 back if customer decides to upgrade the system.

Customer had a leak coming from the supply line of the refrigerator. The refrigerator was unable to be removed, but the affected area was on the wall behind the refrigerator. Customer agreed for us to open up the wall behind the refrigerator to see exactly what was leaking. Once the wall was opened, I turned the water slowly back onto the house to expose that there was a leak happening. Beyond the shut off box. The supply line. The shut off box was put in pex. I was able to cut out the support for this shut off box and actually turn the shut off itself off.So that we can resupply water to the home. I'll let them know that they're supply line and shut off box would need to be replaced at this point. Restoration is out here at this moment in time.Removing everything. I also made a suggestion for them to replace their pressure regulating valve and emergency shut off, which is on the outside of the home.It is thirteen years old. Thank you for choosing and trusting t e with your plumbing ne

Homeowner has a flood in his basement. There is currently about 1” of standing water in the basement. The water is coming from the water heater. The water heaters are from 2007, it is a dual 50 gallon natural gas setup. Due to the standing water, new water heaters cannot be installed at this time. There is a gate valve to isolate the water heaters, however, the gate valve has failed and is not properly working. I cut out and removed sections of copper from both the hot and cold side and install new quarter turn ball valves with caps in the ends of them. I shut them off and turned the water on. I listened through the PRV and heard no more water moving, and I found no more leaks. The heaters must be condemned due to flooding out. Informed homeowner of this and left quotes for new water heaters. I found the water pressure to be 85 PSI, I informed the homeowner of this as well, and left a quote to replace the pressure regulator. I also left a quote for an automatic water shutoff valve to p

I came out today to troubleshoot lights and outlets not working, I discovered a tripped breaker for the basement lights, outdoor and basement storage room outlets and the sump pump all sharing the same circuit. The sump pump should be separated in order to avoid this becoming a persistent issue. I reset the breaker and checked the circuit, the sump pump is currently plugged into a separate circuit by the homeowner and all the lights and outlets for the basement and porch are currently working.
