Install wiring for five future under cabinet lights in kitchen , via crawl space. Also add new switch for lights.
Noise complaint- During inspection found blower motor is failing causing the noise. Fully inspected system and found multiple compromised spots on the heat exchanger. Inducer motor and condenser fan motor are over amping and recommended to be replaced. Flue vent needs to be double wall, system lacks flood protection and outdoor coil needs to be cleaned. System also has history of a refrigerant leak and a leak search is suggested. Due to the cost of repairs and age of equipment, customer has decided to get a quote from an Install Supervisor. Quote is scheduled for tomorrow between 11-2pm
Replace customer supplied kitchen and widespread faucet. Cleaned out debris in shower head for one of the daughter’s upstairs bathroom's had clogged up as a courtesy. Check work that has been completed for leaks and found no issues with the installation of the two faucets. Will provide quote to replace the water heater that is 10+ years old.
Replaced (4x) Smoke / Carbon Combos, (1x) duplex outlet and (2x) toggle switches in guest bath.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot issues throughout the home. After discussing with the homeowners, I provided options to repair any issues. They are going to discuss the options before making a decision.
Wired outlets on the main floor of the home and basement ran dedicated circuits and ran dedicated circuits for the furnaces in the basement and attic
Returned to complete quoted work. Replaced 11 yr old water heater. Installed new 50 gal gas water heater with warranty extension for total of 10 yr warranty. Included all code and safety requirements. Also replaced 20 yr old prv and main shut off valve.
Homeowner had leaking from the toilet in the master when flushed. Previously it was leaking from the tank when flushed and this was fixed. Today it was leaking from the under the base when flushed. Homeowner had new toilet for install. When I removed the toilet the flange had been improperly installed so the bolts were not capable of holding the base down. I removed the flange from the bottom and replaced. I installed the flange and toilet. Sealed around the base with silicone. Tested for proper operation. There is no warranty on the product supplied by the homeowner. Additionally I discussed that the water pressure regulator needs to be replaced. Due to elevated water pressure there is no warranty on the water connection.
Water pipe leading to the hose spigot had frozen and burst. Another person had cut the pipe and installed a sharkbite ball valve to stop the leak. Installed new hose spigot and water line. Installed a new ball valve in the ceiling. Pipe was run in pex which is better at withstanding freezing temperatures. Turned on the water and tested all work. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Performed a whole system inspection, inspected gas, furnace, and air conditioner. At this time, the system is operating properly.
Replaced main valve and pressure reducing valve. Moved valve down so it is accessible from the ground. Replaced 2 thermal expansion tanks. Repiped as needed. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Met with customer and spoke with them regarding the issue they are experiencing. Customer showed us inside and stated that while their fiber optic cable was being installed in the yard outside the company installing it hit their sewer line which then caused a whole home backup. This happened a few days ago and the pipe has already been repaired and most fixtures in the house are working properly. Customer showed us to the master bathroom on the main level of the home and stated the tub is still clogged and there is still sewage from the backup. It is a freestanding tub and we did not think a machine would be able to go down the overflow for it. While testing to see if we could clear it with a plunger the clog cleared and the tub began draining properly. We then tested it thoroughly and ran a large volume of water as we cleaned the tub from any leftover sewage. Tub is draining properly at this time. Customer is satisfied and paid for today’s service with a card.
For this job the customer stated that there was water showing in the yard which indicated a leak on the main service line. Shutting the water off inside the house to isolate the main service line showed signs of a leak indicated by the meter. The customer was given multiple options including a spot repair and full replacement of water service. The customer opted for the latter. A line was trenched from the meter to the house. A new meter nipple and dual check valve was installed on the meter as well as a courtesy valve in front of the meter. A new penetration was drilled and soft copper was ran through said penetration. Both sides of the new penetration was covered with hydraulic cement and roof tar. Service line was buried and all work was checked thoroughly. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Did a load calculation on the house. There was plenty of power for a Tesla charger. I had to move 2 circuits to the sub panel. I installed surge protection. I installed a 60 amp circuit and installed a customer supplied Tesla charger. Charger has been connected to the WiFi and updated.
