Ryan Wallace came out today to help us with an issue we had with getting our brand-new gas range connected to electricity and got it set up and ready to use. He was here promptly this morning and worked diligently and quickly to get it all connected and working. Electricity and gas were hooked up and checked he and knew exactly what to do. Previous to this Ryan has handled putting in our entire whole house electrical panel system and many more projects for us. Ryan is a gentleman and great to work with. We greatly appreciate his expertise and knowledge he shares with us. We call on him often and will do so again. GREAT SERVICE!!

Everything about our experience with TE Certified was top notch. Our hot water heater went out and I wrote my request at 10 pm. Within minutes I got a response and easily got an appointment. When I called the next morning to see if we could get an appointment that day, we were immediately escalated and sent frequent text messages with exact info on when the technician would arrive. Then we were even sent a bio and photo of our tech, whose name is Paris. We were concerned that we were going to have to buy a new hot water heater. But Paris trouble shooted and spent most of the day getting the replacement part and ensuring that everything was working properly again. For years I’ve written about customer service for national magazines, and my husband and I agreed that this was hands down one of our best experiences ever!

For this job, I troubleshot a circuit that was tripping
I arrived to the customers home and in his home inspection for the outdoor sewer line, the inspector found that there was sections of tree roots that have invaded the sewer line. Today I came out to camera the drain lines. I pulled the toilet in the hall bath on the main level of the home and was able to run the camera 47 feet to a point in which there was an obstruction found inside of the piping preventing me from pushing any further. I’ve located the section of obstructed piping under the basement slab next to a 3 inch cleanout. The drain line to the toilet appears to be 2 inches (undersized), and the drain line exiting the home (5 bath home), is 3 inch, undersized according to Georgia’s plumbing code DFU units. The piping from the toilet up to the vertical stack in the basement is fully filled with water as a The piping from the toilet up to the vertical stack in the basement is fully filled with water as a result of belly piping. For this job, I did a home inspection
Replaced two 2” Watts PRVs. Replaced one 2” union that was leaking. Replaced the 4.5 gallon expansion tank at the water heater. Installed hammer arresters on the hot and cold water lines in the ceiling of the first floor. We adjusted the water pressure to 50 PSI and inflated the expansion tank. We bled air from all of the fixtures before turning the water heater and recirculation pump back on. The hammering and vibration issue have been resolved. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Homeowner called us out due to leaking outdoor shower. We installed 2 shutoffs for the shower inside the crawlspace for the shower. Will need a return visit to replace the special cartridge. Tested and checked for leaks
Electrical panel replacement with safety features
Homeowner has been having issues with intermittent hot water in some of the fixtures throughout the house. Upon inspection the swing check valve was showing signs of dezincification. Along with the fact that there was no check valve on the recirculating line. I disassembled and installed the new spring check on cold water and the recirculation line. Added a shutoff valve on the inlet cold and recirculating line. Mounted the pump to a 2x4 for proper support. Moved the expansion tank to after the check valve to protect the system. Pressurized water and verified proper operation.

Arrived today due to a faulty shower cartridge. Upon our evaluation of the system and key components w noticed a few things. Failed prv, failed thermal expansion tank, and a 15 year old water heater. We advised taking care of these issues before a bigger issue arises. While completing this work we also took apart the shower valve that was having issues. We did extensive research but could not find the cartridge replacements. Customer will speak to his wife about either replacing the shower valve with ours, or providing one themselves. Restored water and checked for proper function and made sure there were no leaks.

For this job the customer stated they would like to have the cast iron drains removed from the house and replaced with pvc. We removed cast iron up to where it strictly becomes a vent and no water will be ran through that section of the cast iron. From there we attached pvc and ran two bathroom groups, deleted one bathroom and reconnected for kitchen and master bathroom which will later be remodeled. We also ran a temporary laundry box in a closet located upstairs. Work was performed and thoroughly tested. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Today I performed a homecare electrical inspection. I performed a full panel restoration. I will return Monday to replace an AC disconnect, replace two outdoor outlets with bubble covers, and re-device all switches in the home.
