Full system, install with new pan,pad,safety switches,thermostat ,filter rack, and 3 cut in returns. Upon completion unit was fully operational and customer was satisfied with the install.
HOMECARE VISIT FOR 3 SYSTEMS. Upon arrival homeowner stated the Main floor system with Zoning is not cooling properly. After troubleshooting I found the 5 ton system is completely empty and compressor is running on negative pressure like vacuum its mayor refrigerant leak and possible damage on compressor. Performed HOMECARE maintenance on all 3 systems replaced one pleated filter and one media filter 16 x25x4 provide by homeowner. I recommend to perform Nitrogen leak test on main floor unit to find where is the leak and then Test compressor after the leak is repair. Homeowner approved the nitrogen Test for tomorrow. Performed nitrogen leak test for complete main floor unit 5 ton system is out of warranty expired on 4/17/2025 I confirmed With Distributor. After leak test I found the indoor evaporator coil made of aluminum is leaking from bottom of the connection for Txv can’t be repaired test compressor and is running on High amperage that’s indication Of internal mechanical
Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns.
SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated 2 hvac systems are not working at all after the house was struck by lightning. After complete troubleshooting I found the main floor system 4 ton capacity trane 11 years old the nest thermostat failed after bypass and test system I found the Air handler control board filed and the evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant Due to aged and conditions I recommend to upgrade complete system Homeowner wants to get a quote for new system. Test basement heat pump trane 6 years old the main 40 Va transformer was bad and failed Thermostat by customer request install new transformer and new ecobee Thermostat test cooling mode test pressure are ok at manufacture specifications recommend flood package for basement unit. Replaced leaking 16 year old water heater with new 50 electric water heater, all new copper piping and fittings, expansion tank and strap as well as water heater pan. Also replaced prv and pressure now reading 65 psi.
Electrical analysis to install a new dryer circuit
Install Grounding System, whole house surge, replaced GFCI outlets, and replaced bulbs in the barn
Install outlets for gazebo fans and replace light fixtures
Supplied and installed new 50 gallon electric water heater with all necessary code upgrades. Turned water on and purged system of air before turning on electric. Tested all work for leaks and proper operations.
