Client is not at this home currently and their cleaning crew noticed the floor buckling in the basement, the cleaning crew mentioned the p trap was leaking. I found 1 leaking p trap in the back bathroom and a sink collar that was leaking in the basement kitchen. I quoted and fixed these issues. After more investigation I noticed several HVAC issues, most notably water leaking out of the unit and exhaust venting completely separated in the utility room. There was also a 3 inch hole in the wall where another unit might have utilized for venting? This should be capped. After an HVAC tech came out, he verified that the unit was filled with condensate. I think the majority if not all the water damage the floors sustained was from the HVAC unit. No floor pans were installed for this I triple checked everything I could plumbing related in the basement and verified there were no leaks from water lines or drains.
