Customer had us out today because their system is not cooling. Upon arrival we noticed that there is an 18 year old Goodman heat pump system. Homeowner informed us that she had other companies out and had other clothes were only wanted to get the system running without having to replace it. We noticed that the system was completely Empty of refrigerant indicating a leak within the system. We also noticed that the control board on the air handler was very badly burned however, it was still operable. The blower wheel was very dirty and needed to be cleaned. Homeowner approved to have evaporator coil replaced. System is cooling at time of departure.
Customer has multiple slow drains. Customer stated that the home was poorly maintained before she moved in here. Customer stated that the previous owners had put all kinds of things down the drain that did not belong. ****I thoroughly did an evaluation throughout the plumbing system to make sure this was not a main drain stoppage.*** All the drains that were brought to my attention are individually clogged or slowly draining. Customer has two bathroom sinks that are draining slowly. I will have to remove stoppages from each sink individually. Customer has a garbage disposal that is not operating properly. I will first attempt to perform a repair to garbage disposal. The master bathroom toilet is draining slowly. I will auger this toilet and attempt to remove stoppage. The master bathroom tub and guest bathroom shower are both draining very slowly. I will snake both of these drain lines individually and attempt to remove stoppages.
