Informed me of things that I really did not take any account of it appears I had some pretty dangerous situations going on that he pointed out. I’m very grateful for his work on my electrical outlets and my fuse panel.
In the end, the technician was extremely thorough, polite and knowledgeable. The decision to go with them for replacement of units will hinge a lot around price but the technician was pretty awesome!

David was thorough and did great work. We knew what our options were, the costs and the time it would take to complete. We love TEC and continue to work with them for all of our needs

I was called out to Kelly’s house to replace the dev on the upstairs system. Once I started repairs it was clear the compressor was not working correctly which I verified with tech support. With Kelly’s approval I picked up the compressor and replaced it today. I then reinstalled the system and verified it was working properly.

Customer called us out for a potential clog in dishwasher hose. I removed the hose and poured water down the line having no backup. I believe the issue is either the dishwasher pump or a clog in the dishwasher hose. Customer said they were going to be replacing the dishwasher soon. Customer did not want water heater checked today but the house pressure tested good. I left customer with a quote to replace the garbage disposal with a repipe.
We installed a new 42 space QO electrical panel with whole home surge protector. We also installed all new hardwired and interconnected smoke detectors. We also installed a new customer supplied chandelier with dimmer and ceiling fan. The grounding system was updated as well.

Basement System - Heat pump air handler. System not cooling due to failed starting components. System had tripped the breaker trying to cycle on. I presented a few options to address the current issues and the homeowner went with the bandaid repair today. I replaced the failed starting components only. The system is now cooling to its best ability but it’s drawing 15.6 amps on start up. Recommended adding start assist. I left the equipment operational. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!

Tech was out For no cooling on the main level system. Customer stated that they changed out thermostat due to system not keeping up. The following tech came across. System was dropping 24 V. Checked thoroughly and found thermostat wire broken some where in line behind wall . Other issues with system on furnace flue pipe is incorrect needs to be double wall. Heat exchanger has a crack, Gas connections are poor. We need to also add a sediment trap. Drain line needs to be cleaned. There is no evaporator coil safety switch. System needs a wet switch. There is a float switch, but this is outdated and needs to be replaced. Capacitor is rated at a 7.5 and it is failing blower motor is leaking. All this indicates bearings are going bad inside the blower motor. The blower wheel is needing to be cleaned. Outdoor unit is needing a deep clean chemically. Contractor is pitted and has burn marks. in order for the system to be up and running today we would have to run new thermostat wire or install a
