We had an emergency the day before Thanksgiving when we found a water leak in our basement ceiling. TE was quick to help and had Cory to our house in 2 hours. Cory was professional and quick to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. I had never heard of or used TE before, but their rating on Google (5-star with over 6k reviews) made them an easy choice and my first call. No one likes plumbing issues, but if it happens to you, they should be your first and only call.

Performed a diagnosis on the water heater with the help of the manufacturer to help determine that the gas control valve needs to be replaced. Will be returning Monday, December 22 to install new gas control valve.
Nancy called us today due to a leak in the kitchen ceiling of her rental property. Once I arrived I preformed a thorough evaluation of the plumbing system. I found not only the leak, but a failed prv and thermal expansion tank. I recommended replacing those in addition to the leak repair to reduce the risk of other leaks. Nancy agreed and authorized work. I replaced the prv, the thermal expansion tank, and made a repair in the 3/4 copper in the kitchen ceiling. Restored water, ran every fixture in the home to purge the system of air, and set new prv to 55 psi. Cleaned my mess and called Nancy to go over the work I preformed. Thank you for choosing TE Certified and have a happy holidays.
During our visit, the customer mentioned that the toilet in the basement was not flushing properly. Upon inspection, I noticed the ejector pit was full of water. I also noticed a humming sound coming from the pump. Considering the part number for the existing pump was on the plug wire, I was able to search the pump model. The previous “plumber” installed a sump pump designed only for water. I made the customer aware of this. Multiple quotes were provided and presented to the customer. An estimate was signed and approved for work to begin. A new Liberty 1/2 hp ejector pump was installed. A new lid and gasket kit was also added during the install. A quiet ball and check combo was installed on the discharge line as well. This install was tested for leaks and functionality after completion. The new pump was tested over twenty times. HIGH RISK ALERT- During our original inspection, the customer mentioned that they were only getting two showers worth of hot water. The customer took me t
For this job, we installed a customer supplied car charger and a whole home surge protector.
Homeowner initially called concerning the dishwasher not draining and causing a leak below in the garage ceiling. The dishwasher is full of water at the bottom and the homeowners have also heard gurgling when draining water in the sink. A drain specialists was scheduled. After further inspection, I found a constant pinhole leak from a 1/2 copper line in the ceiling of the garage. I cut and removed the failed section, and replaced it with new pipe and fittings. Tested and checked for leaks.
Sewer supervisor scheduled us to come out and run a mini jetter down customers main floor hall toilet. I removed the toilet and ran the jetter down the mainline successfully clearing the blockage. I then reset the toilet, cleaned and tested to make sure everything was draining well. I confirmed drainage through cleanout.
Called out for a back up on the right side of the home blockage has relieved itself tested thoroughly all fixtures recommend camera of issue happens again but as of right now, everything is draining properly
Today I arrived to the customers home and they had an issue with a bathroom group backing up. I pulled the toilet and did a camera inspection to find what appeared to be wipes. There was sludge inside the pipe for approximately 30 feet from the toilet drain. Tomorrow will drain tech will come out to jet out the line in hopes of this being a solution to their issue. I was upfront with the customer and let them know I cannot guarantee this will solve their issue And that it may be an issue with the slope of the pipe in bellies. The customer understands that this may be a step one of a two stage process. If that is the case, I will apply the cost of the camera and jetting towards the permanent repair.
Run new wire to sub panel and new bigger breaker
Today we came out for the main level not heating on Goodman 60k natural gas 80% furnace 2010 with 2008 matching 2 ton ac. Cycled equipment from thermostat found high limit switch open. Performed safety inspection with digital camera found severe metal fatigue and hot spots due to age and run time. Heat exchanger is compromised and could fail at anytime. In addition found weak ignition system and gas pressure too high. Due to equipment being at full life expectancy a long term solution is gonna be to update will schedule install supervisor to give options on updating. Bumped down gas pressure and gave bandaid repair options left all equipment in service all though equipment could fail at anytime. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Customer called us out for a clogged toilet in the basement. I inspected the toilet and found that the clog was only in the toilet. I recommended running a closet auger down the line to clear the toilet. Customer agreed. I ran the closet auger once successfully clearing the blockage. I then tested the toilet throughly with no issues.
