Excellent is an Understatement!

We had an emergency the day before Thanksgiving when we found a water leak in our basement ceiling. TE was quick to help and had Cory to our house in 2 hours. Cory was professional and quick to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. I had never heard of or used TE before, but their rating on Google (5-star with over 6k reviews) made them an easy choice and my first call. No one likes plumbing issues, but if it happens to you, they should be your first and only call.

No Heat - Only system System not heating due to age and worn components. Flame rectifier is weak and sooted up causing the system to ignite and shut back down. The inducer motor is weak and over amping. The igniter is weak and below operating parameters, the blower wheel is dirty, the heat exchanger is compromised, the burners are dirty and deteriorating, the evaporator coil is rusted and covered in debris. At 20 years old this system has exceeded its life expectancy and all parts are subject to failure at any moment. No warranty can be provided due to the equipment’s age and condition. I removed and cleaned the flame rectifier and the system is currently heating to its best ability. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great evening!

Homeowner requested an estimate for a new water heater and water filtration system. Upon approval, we removed the existing 50-gallon gas water heater and salt-based water filtration system. We installed a Navien tankless water heater and a HALO 5 whole-house water filtration system, along with a new pressure-reducing valve (PRV) and main water shutoff. All systems were fully tested to ensure proper operation and functionality.

During our visit, the customer mentioned they had a high water bill. They also mentioned that Cobb county had recently come out and notified them that they have a leak somewhere. Upon inspection I noticed a small amount of water coming into the basement from the water service penetration. I spoke with the customer about solutions. An estimate was approved for a repair to be made. I dug up near the foundation of the home. A leak was located just before the water pipe enters the basement. The existing 1” pex pipe was improperly installed. Soft copper was installed through the foundation and wrapped in burial tape. Each side of the foundation wall was sealed with hydraulic cement and tar. A new pressure reducing valve and main shutoff valve were also installed in the basement. These repairs were tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!!

Technician found cracks and holes in the flue pipe, these defects can cause carbon monoxide to leak into the home. The system was completely empty of refrigerant, causing the system to not work in cool mode. A leak search will be needed to quote proper repairs for the system. The Static Pressure is too high on the supply side. This means that there is a lack of airflow for the system. This is caused by the combination of the dirty evaporator coil and the improper sizing of the ductwork on the supply side. There is a lack of combustion air in the basement, this would be addressed by adding a combustion air intake into the basement. A lack of combustion air will cause the furnace to have incomplete combustion causing carbon monoxide production, unstable flames, poor heating, and energy inefficiency. The blower wheel and condenser coil are also dirty. This will cause the unit to operate under stress causing higher power consumption and a lower life expectancy of the system. The syst

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new furnace. Today we came out for main level not heating 2006 Bryant 75k furnace with rheem 2016 ac 3 ton drive. Cycled equipment from thermostat found seized up draft inducer motor. Inspected heat exchanger with digital camera found crack @ 7 o clock tagged furnace unsafe to operate in heating mode due to potential carbon monoxide fumes. Flue piping is not up to current code due to single wall piping and gas line is not up to code due to flexible gas line tied into gas valve must be hard pipe and client has minimal flood protection and no emergency drain pan.

Homeowner had leak coming from the shower head in the master bathroom. The home is 10 years old and the pressure regulator is currently leaking. I recommended the replacement of the valve along with replacing the shower cartridge. Homeowner decided to replace the cartridge only at this time. Homeowner understands that there is no warranty on the work performed today due the the pressure regulator needs to be replaced. Left estimates for the regulator and water heater due to age.
