Arrived onsite to install a dimmer switch that had gone bad. Determined which wires went to the fixtures and which needed constant power. Tied in the customer supplied dimmer but it seemed to not be operational so I installed a dimmer off of the truck and set the dimmer limit to the customer preference. The wall cover was also cracked so we replaced that with a nylon untreatable coverplate.
- Attempt to pop clog in front yard due to water being held in sewer line. No warranty on cable Successfully popped clog and water went down. Gave estimates for camera inspection due to pulling back mud on sewer machine customer is going to speak with his girl , not really interested at this time. He does understand there is a bigger issue that can clog sewer again very quickly.
Left on test for inspector will return to remove equipment.
Troubleshooting water heater breaker tripping and checking water heater connections. Found that the whip going to water heater didn’t have connector and also the white wire has cuts in insulation. Installed connector and cleaned up wire inside water heater and disconnected and reset breaker and had 240v hot to hot and 120v hot to ground. When reconnected after repairing, it still was tripping which means that it is an issue with water heater. There are no issues with the electrical feeding water heater as of right now.
Restored flow to condensate standpipe in hall closet with hvac unit. Offered complimentary plumbing inspection while onsite, customer declined inspection at this time. No warranty for drain clear. A significant amount of water was present. Recommended customer to have restoration service access affected area.
- Attempt to restore drainage from roof due to clog under home. ** if toilet pull is needed price will increase ** Was unable to restore flow to main , attempted multiple times , will be coming back out with supervisor later on when available to run a camera and check what issues are currently in the drain / what needs to be done to repair them. Customer called us out for whole home stoppage , gave estimate for $99 however customer wanted us to use a bigger machine got on the phone with supervisor and gave estimate for big machine. Customer is getting multiple estimates
Attempt to restore flow to main sewer line ( single cleanout out in front yard is full ) Successfully restored flow to main drain in front yard, tested pluming inside home and everything is draining. Did explain to homeowner that my cable was binding up while running and took a lot of work to get flow restored so a camera diagnostic is need to look inside the drains and figure out what the issues are and how to fix them. Customer is not wanting to run camera at this time. No warranty on drain clear.
Home owner met onsite with city inspector and passed the final inspection. Emailed copy of inspection report.
Customer called us out for a leak looked around home and outside house also looked at meter. Gave estimate to start off with a whole shut off to verify if the leak is inside or outside. Customer is getting multiple estimates. Called supervisor with customer to better explain any questions she may have had. Quotes are good for 30 days.
Customer had a burnt GFCI that ended up tripping and not being able to reset. Explain to customer that the GFCI was burning inside and the hot wire also was becoming melted. Explain that the breaker should have tripped. Also explain, we will not warrantee the GFCI if he keeps charging his electric vehicle from it. Me and Marco are returning the 30th after six.
Arrived on job site customer stated that he wanted two exhaust fans to be installed inside of the house one is going to be in guest bathroom, the other in the master bathroom as well will be providing ducks to provide the correct ventilation. Will be adding four can lights inside of the kitchen with an existing switch. Light will be coming back out Friday of next week to complete the work. Customer is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.
Arrived to look at issue with circuit not operating and we previously redeviced the home. Through my investigation I found that the front yard pole light had been tied into the front bedroom receptacle on the end of the circuit and it has a direct short in the line causing the whole circuit to shut off when connected. As the light is damaged and never used by the home owner I removed and made safe the line so that the circuit can now operate properly and with no safety issues. Put all devices back in and tested connected equipment to ensure circuit is fully operational. Found no further issues.
Customer called us out for water heater quote, gave multiple estimates and explained each one. Customer is going to call back at a later date. Estimates are good for 30 days.
