Returned to check flickering lights going on nothing happening while we were there, checked voltage in panel all connections, ran a voltage test everything checking out properly. Customer called about a burnt up outlet in the dinette area. Found wire had burnt all the way back to where it enters the junction box. We need to move the outlet up and install a new junction box on fresh wire. Customer also still has the same issue from the last time we were out in the living room. Customer has a floor AC unit plugged in and lost power to the living room outlet(s), front 3 gang switch box and hallway light. Left options to make repairs on all work described. Met with city inspector onsite and passed the final inspection. Also installed customer supplied smoke detectors while onsite.
Customer had an outlet in the master bedroom closet that was pulled out of the wall and stab locked. Breaker was off when arrived and found that there was a transformer from the security company plugged into outlet that shorted out somehow. Replace the outlet and cut breaker on and everything worked with no issues. Explain stab, locking outlets and why they are not good to have And also other concerns.

Perform electrical troubleshoot on a single circuit supplying switches and receptacles, identify fault within circuit, repair fault while repairing switches and other devices such as plugs and the breaker controlling circuit. Testing entire circuit, while making sure it is code-compliant. Does not include replacing or running new wires. 5 year warranty on entire circuit. Customer had a burnt neutral wire on a plug in the master bedroom that was causing other outlets and switches not to work properly. All the plugs and switches were stabbed locked and explain the hazards with stab locking outlets. Replaced all the plugs and switches in the master bedroom downstairs to the left. Everything is working at this time and there are no issues five year warranty on the circuit.

We ran a new 10/3 romex wire from the panel box to the dryer and also installed a GFCI double pole 30 amp breaker. We changed the three prong original dryer outlet to a four prong dryer outlet that has two hots and neutral and a ground wire. the wire going to the dryer was missing a ground initially and that’s why we had to change the ground due to the dryer. We tested the dryer ensure it was working. We also showed the customer how to use the GFCI breaker thoroughly and informed her that there is a five-year warranty on the breaker and wire..
Customer had bad light switches in the bathroom downstairs controlling the lights and also a bad smart switch on the outside that wasn’t working properly and a bad GFCI outlet in the same bathroom that wasn’t working. Explain to customer how everything works at top tech and upfront pricing and the difference and benefits of upfront pricing compared to hourly rates. Offered for electrical safety visit in customer declined called Marco to see if we could do anything to help customer and she says she is going to get her commercial guy out that works for her business because he charges hourly.
They had 2 switches for the front that were not working and found stab locked plug and replaced and repaired. Everything works now with no issues. Troubleshooting 2 switches in switch box $129 off per promo
Installed fan rated junction box in back left bedroom. Customer is happy with the installation *customer will install the new ceiling fan himself * found multiple safety issues throughout the home. Customer declined any options for repairs at this time
Customer called wanting repairs done to the circuit feeding the microwave, front living area and second floor front bedroom outlets, fixing exposed wiring for a water heater, rewiring the master bedroom ceiling fan, running a dedicated circuit to the microwave and addressing the original breaker box. Troubleshooting and repair plugs as needed. Customer had a cooktop and a vent hood that were not working and had no power. Opened up electrical panel and tested all Square D breakers, and everything was feeding power out. Pulled on all wires to make sure they were all properly connected to the breakers and found that the vent hood/cooktop wire was not connected to the actual breaker itself. Redo the connection and put inside breaker and everything cut on with no issues. Tested vent hood and cooktop and make sure there were no other loose connections in the electrical panel. Everything is working at this time. also explained how GFCI outlets and GFCI breakers work and how to test and reset. Also explain that the GFCI in the upstairs bathroom is protecting all the other bathrooms.
