Arrived on the job site. The customer stated that he wanted to add two Ethernet cable lines—one for the master bedroom and one for the work office—with the main double-port connection located behind the living room TV. Also replaced the existing doorbell with a hardwired Ring doorbell and performed a minor troubleshoot to wire the Cat 6 cable to the customer’s connections and plates. Replaced the customer-supplied doorbell chime. Replaced the broken outdoor uplight using the customer’s fixture. Replaced all smoke detectors in the home, a total of eight: four carbon monoxide/smoke combination detectors with sealed 10-year batteries, and four hardwired smoke detectors with sealed 10-year batteries. All smoke detectors include a 10-year warranty. Also replaced two dual-function breakers that were on recall; the customer supplied the breakers and these were the last two needing replacement. Everything installed today includes a 5-year warranty, except for the smoke detectors, which carry
Arrived on the job site, and the customer stated that several lights throughout the home were flickering intermittently. Performed a full troubleshooting inspection, checking voltage at the panel as well as inside the meter base. All readings were normal, and there was no voltage imbalance. Informed the customer that the first step will be to have Oncore come out to check for any loose connections on their end, since the issue is intermittent. If the flickering continues and oncore confirms everything is fine on their side, the next step will likely be to replace the main panel and upgrade the grounding system, including pulling a permit and ensuring the work passes city inspection. Also replaced the GFCI and bubble cover on the back patio. Everything is working properly. The customer has a five-year warranty on the GFCI and connections. Customer is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.
Customer had a tripped art fall breaker and side panel and explain how to test and reset breaker. The original issue was that the nursery room was not working and had no power from plugs or switches. Explain to customer that the breaker trip for a reason, reset breaker and everything worked other than closet light. And realized that the breaker tripped every time you cut the light on. Took down light fixture and opened up switch and saw that there was a ground wire, touching a hot wire on the switch, causing the breaker to trip. Repaired switch and light fixture and everything worked with no issues. Explain to customer that she had two majorly oversized circuit breakers in the electrical panel with the wrong type breaker made from home line. Explain it is a BR panel and that a 30 amp breaker should not be on a 14 gauge wire.
Arrived on the job site and the customer stated that he wanted two outdoor outlets replaced. I replaced both outlets, installed the customer-supplied bubble covers, and applied silicone around everything. I also informed the customer that the outlets and connections come with a five-year warranty, but the bubble covers are not covered. Performed a full safety evaluation throughout the home and noted that many components are approximately 39 years old and showing normal wear and tear. Provided solutions for replacing the main breaker panel, re-devicing, and bringing everything up to current electrical code. The customer stated that he would like some time to think about the recommendations and will call back when ready to move forward. Customer is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.

Arrived on the job site. The customer stated that multiple outlets in her restrooms were not working. Performed a troubleshooting service to diagnose the issue and found that two GFCI outlets—one in the hall bathroom and one in the master bathroom—were not wired properly. Replaced the GFCI in the master bath with a standard white Decora outlet, as it is already protected by the GFCI in the hall bath. Verified that all outlets are now working properly. While inspecting the electrical panel and checking breakers during the diagnostic, I noticed that the panel is outdated and approximately 40 years old. Offered the customer a quote for a panel replacement, but she declined for now and stated she would call back within a year to discuss pricing. The customer was 100% satisfied with today’s visit and understands that the replaced outlet in the master bath is covered by a five-year warranty.
Arrived on the job site, and the customer stated that he was experiencing electrical issues throughout the home, including partial power loss. Upon inspection, it was determined that the customer was not receiving 240 volts due to a faulty electrical meter base. Provided a quote to replace the main breaker panel located outside, as well as the overhead meter base next to it. We will also be upgrading the electrical grounding system, including the ground rod and cold water bond, and installing a whole-home surge protector on the main panel. A city permit will be pulled to ensure all work passes inspection. The customer is enrolled in the VIP plan and will receive a 10% discount on electrical and plumbing services. We are scheduled to return on Tuesday, November 4th, to complete the work. The customer understands that all work and labor are covered by a five-year warranty, and the panel, meter base, and whole-home surge protector come with a lifetime warranty. The customer is 100% happy
Arrived on site. The customer stated that he wanted to replace an uplight knuckle fixture on the exterior of the home, replace an exhaust fan/light combo in the upstairs restroom, and install a dimmer switch to control the vanity lights in the same restroom. Performed a full home safety evaluation and noted several concerns and code violations, including missing arc-fault protection throughout the home, no whole-home surge protection, outdated smoke detectors, and backstabbed devices. Provided solutions and repair options, as well as a step-by-step plan to address the code violations. The customer requested time to review the quotes and will call back to proceed with the work. Hector will be completing the installations today for the exhaust fan/light combo, the exterior uplight fixture, and the dimmer switch. The customer understands that there is a five-year warranty on all labor and materials, including the exhaust fan and exterior fixture. The dimmer switch itself is customer-su
Arrived on the job site, and the customer stated that their AFCI breaker was consistently tripping. I offered to perform a full circuit troubleshoot, but the customer declined. During the safety evaluation, I noticed a wet spot on the ceiling near a 6-inch surface-mount light fixture. I informed the customer that this moisture could be contributing to the breaker tripping. The customer agreed to proceed with diagnosing and replacing the light fixture only. While replacing the fixture, I observed significant water damage on the old light. I inspected the connections and confirmed that the wiring and junction box were dry and free of water damage—the moisture was isolated to the fixture itself. After installing the new surface-mount light fixture and restoring power, the breaker remained on and everything operated properly. I informed the customer that the new fixture is covered by a five-year warranty. However, if the AFCI breaker trips again and it’s unrelated to the light fixture, a
Arrived on job site; customer stated that the chandelier in the master restroom made a loud popping sound from the canopy area. Afterward, he noticed that the breaker had tripped. He reset the breaker, but the light still did not come back on. He then tried swapping the switches with no success and decided to call us out to diagnose the issue. Performed a minor troubleshooting service and found that the wiring above the fixture was burnt and melted. Discovered that there was no electrical box protecting the wire, so we installed a pancake box on the beam for proper support and protection. put the old chandelier, re-spliced the wiring, and verified that everything is now working properly. Offered to perform a full safety evaluation, but the customer declined. Noted that the electrical panel was replaced in March and that the home has been re-deviced as well with new grounding system , surge protection, smoke detectors, and GFCIs—all properly installed and in the correct locations. Cu
