Arrived on site and spoke with the customer, who stated that the front porch outlet was coming loose from the wall along with the interior junction box. Installed a new white duplex outlet and a new bubble cover to correct the issue. Secured the junction box firmly in the wall and verified that everything is working properly. The customer is completely satisfied with today’s service and understands that the outlet, connections, and bubble cover are covered by a 5-year warranty. Also discussed whole-home surge protection—customer declined at this time but mentioned he may call back if he decides to move forward in the future.
Arrived on site and spoke with the customer, who requested an Ethernet cable installation. While assessing the wiring route, I noticed a newly installed Square D panel. Upon inspection, I found several code violations. The neutral wire coming from the meter base is severely undersized. Additionally, there are 2-inch PVC MA connectors with multiple conductors running through them, which is no longer up to code — individual knockouts must be used instead. The bottom PVC connector also lacks proper grounding for the panel. There are multiple additional code violations throughout the home that need to be addressed. I provided the customer with solutions and estimates to upgrade and correct all code issues. The customer decided to move forward only with the Ethernet installation for now and will take some time to review the other options. I will return on Friday, October 17th, to complete the Ethernet installation. The customer is fully satisfied with today’s visit. Ran dedicated Etherne

Arrived on site, and the customer stated that the outlet on the kitchen island was not working, while all other outlets in the kitchen had power. Performed a minor troubleshoot to diagnose the issue and found that the island outlet had a loose connection on the hot screw, which was causing slight arcing. Replaced the outlet with a new white duplex receptacle and wrapped it with electrical tape due to the metal box enclosure. During troubleshooting, I also noted that the electrical panel is a Cutler-Hammer type with breakers showing signs of wear and tear, and it is missing a surge protector. The GFCIs appear to be original to the home. I provided recommendations to replace the aging breakers, install a whole-home surge protector, and upgrade the existing GFCIs. The customer was 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit and understands that all work is covered under a five-year warranty.
