Today's project involved replacing rotted wooden fence posts for residential client. Found significant termite damage at soil line. Replaced with vinyl-coated steel posts set in concrete. Reattached existing fence panels and treated surrounding soil with natural cedar oil to deter future infestations.
Installed 320 feet of split rail fence around rural residential property today. Three-rail design using locust posts and cedar rails. Set posts 8 feet apart at 30" depth. Added small drainage rocks at base of each post to prevent water accumulation and rot.
I installed a new chainlink fence in Durham today. I set the posts using a post driver and ensured the spacing was even. The 9-gauge galvanized wire was unrolled and stretched tightly between the posts. The fence is now solid and provides secure enclosure.
