We repaired a Kennedy fire hydrant today that the bonnet broke and hydrant was placed out of service. We were one of four contractors to bid this job and the only one that quoted a repair while the other contractors told the customer there was no repairing the fire hydrant and had to replace the fire hydrant. It has been repaired and is back in service ready to provide water the fire department in case of emergency.
